Went in for a quick Starbucks coffee but ended lingering to look at all the books games magazines B&N offers. Astounding number of choices. Staff helpful with my questions. The Starbucks is standard & dependable with cheerful baristas & plenty of tables.

At around 8:10 p.m. Monday December 4th The Starbucks within the Barnes & nobles of the 2:30 main Street White plains location My friend and I were treated very rudely when we asked the representative for a spoon... He said that we cannot have a spoon unless we purchase something, which I understand and is fine. However when I said can I purchase a coffee he still continue to say that I can still cannot get a spoon because his manager supposedly told them that he has to be very selective with how many spoons he gives out... He continues to not have any hospitality and treated us with a very cold expression even though we were kind and said thank you for being treated rudely... I hope this serves as a lesson that the cost that they saved by sparing a spoon versus getting this negative review with far outweigh the attempts to save overhead... I'm not sure if this is the manager's fault as Michael said regarding not giving out a spoon... Or if, this was just Michael's discretion Please address this matter because I really like this Barnes and nobles... Starbucks within

I love this B&N. It's my own personal escape. Apart from always having some of the coolest and widest variety of collectibles, they have an excellently, well built manga and graphic novel section. The staff are also usually pretty helpful and happy to be of assistance.
