Monday, June 26th, 2023I walked into the store area & was looking for help to purchase 15 bags of Sweet Peet Mulch at $23.00 per bag. I did not see anyone in the area so I went the the counter, & called out several times, then, suddenly, this woman pulls back her rolling chair looking at me like I’m bothering her then reply’s “ WHAT DO YOU WANT?”,in such a manner that I was flabbergasted so I replied nothing & waked out. They just lost a customer and over $200 that I was willing to spend for my mulch. Very Rude!!!

Great experience : the staff was knowledgable and helpful -good advice on what to plant in part-sun, part shade and shade areas.Also the plants we purchased were strong and healthy - fresh.Our first time and we will shop there again.

Arrived yesterday to make a large purchase and instead of being greeted, an employee yelled out that they were closing in 5 minutes and slammed the white entrance doors. Totally unprofessional and unwelcoming. Will not return.

Was looking for a local florist to send a bouquet to my fiance for her birthday. I called on a Sunday for a Monday delivery. The woman on the phone was very helpful and pleasant. They did not disappoint!! She was just in awe by the bouquet they made as were all her coworkers. This will be my new go to florist and I highly recommend them to everyone!

Had a rather unpleasant experience visiting Amodio's the other day. I was greeted by an older woman upon entering the shop, in a tone I can only describe as unwelcoming and skeptical. I had called earlier asking for a certain brand of seeds, only to come in and see that the selection was thin and mostly picked over and then told "it's too early to buy seeds" - as a professional gardener from out of town/country, I found this very ignorant. I guess I wasn't worth the sale that day. The store was very dusty and boring, and I could hear staff members talking about another woman with a series of brain tumors in a room beside the seed rack and the general atmosphere was dreary. I'm sure their spring and summer service is much better with the sale of annuals and perennials, but visiting in the off season seemed like more of an inconvenience to them.
