The drab lighting and eerie ambience perfectly compliment the intrinsic corporate greed that permeates this store. What it lacks in soul it makes up for only in equally soulless products and robotic service. It is, in every sense, arrogance manifested. God do I miss Best Market.

Store is awful. Everything dairy has short expiration dates. Store worker said this is how they get it cheaper. No bargain if you throw out so much food. Produce looks old and stale. It is. Like it has been sitting around for a week.
Meat and chicken. Everything packaged.
Store is dirty and they are hostile to service animals. This is the weirdest store I have ever been in.

This place has more security than a bank. That many people stealing off-brand groceries in the Hamptons? Smells like they mop the floors with dirty toilet water.

It's hit or miss on products. They have nothing keto aside from wraps. I've emailed several times regarding no keto products with no response. This store doesn't belong in Westhampton Beach!

Very helpful staff, always has great products including produce, meats, foods from different countries..very great selection for all..cheap milk eggs cheese and meats...I would suggest coming here for that stuff and cheaper home items but go to king kullen for whatever you can't find here. But come to Lidl first and then go to King Kullen...you can spend 75$ in here and get 20/30 things versus going to King kullen in eastport where $75 gets you 4 items and a 50c paperbag that rips on your way into the house. Not many grocery selections out here in Westhampton. I would suggest taking the extra 20 minutes and go to "shop rite" in riverhead...that store has EVERYTHING. But if you are in Westhampton its a good spot to get items to make dinner or have a picnic or snack under the gazebo. Friendly staff. Good spot ??

i have yet to check out where my register receipt showed the correct prices have to spend more time and effort asking for credits on items just purchased ......and..... you cannot reach their stores. must call their 800 number and many times get nasty associates to respond and accomplish nothing.

So, I think it's important that I weigh in with the review. I usually don't leave reviews, but I need to. However, I am troubled because it seems as if yelp will not allow zero stars or negative stars. To give one star to this pseudo-supermarket is to be more generous than the human psyche could ever allow. In fact, it hurts me deep in my soul that I have to give this one star. I do hope people will read what I'm writing and understand that if I were able to utilize a scale that could take into account, the vastness of the failure of the supermarket to provide the kinds of basic supermarket services that folks around here were used to when this was the A&P... it would be a -5 and they wouldn't be stars they would be little poop emojis.

Like other Lidls it's nothing fancy and it can be hit and miss about whether you find everything you need. But considering the sky high prices in other stores in Westhampton or having to drive to another town for any other grocery stores, it's okay.
