My Dad SMSgt Wilbrod Fafard was stationed there at Suffolk County Air Force Base from 1967 to 1970.. He retired February 1970..
I was sworn in to the Air Force May 1974 .{delayed enlistment} by Mom's Boss Brigadier General Campbell.. {had to get special permission from Fort Hamilton {NY}

From 1964 to 1969 I was stationed at the base,named Suffolk Co. AFB in the 52nd CES,and very proud to have served there.It started my Air Force career of 8 years.
