In Westfield for vacation and had a problem with my tire...they were able to fit me in and had it fixed in 30 minutes!

I needed to get our car inspected since it was overdue. We were not able to get to my regular place near Rochester so I took a recommendation from a friend about Charlies in Westfield. I pick car mechanics like I would choose a dentist, with great care! I was not disappointed as I received excellent service in the inspection, oil change and tire rotation done. They also discussed a problem I was having with the ABS system. Highly recommend this place.

I called today around 3pm and spoke to Bob, I had an issue with a tire and he was kind enough to help us out immediately before he closed. That was beyond awesome of him, we will 100% be going to him for future work!!

Excellent service! Thought my car was totaled after a semi lost its drive shaft in front of me on the thruway. Charlie’s did an excellent job with the repair. It runs like new. Thank you! Definitely recommend them.

Got a flat on our way down from Toronto to Florida. So happy we came across Charlie’s on google. Got a tow there and we were back on the road in 30 mins. I felt that Charlie’s was incredibly honest and friendly!Service: Tires

When we first moved here and were looking for a mechanic my step father recommended at the time Babcock's which has since changed it's name to Charlie's. They have always been great to deal with, always get us in in a timely fashion and work with us when trying to figure out big repairs. I've been able to ask him questions without him being impatient with me. Including the cold morning my car wouldn't start and I called him for advice. Or the time my husband didn't remember a repair we'd had recently despite me knowing it was done but to humor him well they were working on other stuff I asked Bob about it. He told me we had plenty of time left. Plenty of mechanics would have taken us for the extra money but not these guys. He's real with what we drive and how long we can wait for repairs and has honored quotes even when prices went up after the quote. As a woman he hasn't treated me any differently some mechanics like to take advantage of women he's never made me feel like he's being shady to me. He usually can get parts very quickly and checks with me before just doing extra work we didn't discuss that he noticed needed doing.Now if you want to do Charlie's right you schedule for late morning on a nice day and walk the couple blocks up to town and wander the lovely businesses and restaurants well the guys get your car in shape.Now for today.... my kid has been sick for 3 days and finally got the taste to eat but it was for something in Westfield 20 min away. On my drive down 76 my windshield wiper driverside went. There's no good places to stop for driverside repairs on 76 esp with lots of snow. I finally got to stop and check it out when I got to the corner in town. I knew there was a screw that got loose years prior but I couldn't find it. Charlie's was a couple buildings down. So I stopped to ask for advice. Despite being very busy Bob fixed it for me on the spot and had me on my way. This tired stressed momma appreciates these guys so much I was able to walk in with food right as the kid finished saying how hungry she was.These guys have a customer for life in me.
