This Bravo Supermarket is located on Post Ave in Westbury, NY. We were looking for a box of Natilla Colombiana Maizena. After checking other supermarkets like Stop and Shop, we were so happy to have found it at this supermarket. We checked the expiration date because of the previous reviews and saw it expires in 2 years from now. There were many other hispanic groceries so this is a great one-stop shop if you are looking.

Great store! the staff are really friendly. I remember when this store used to be c-town. I really liked the lay out of the store it made finding everything nice and easy.

This is an ok supermarket. With all the other grocery store in the area, I came here for emergency situations. They don't have the best quality products but for household products and other small essentials it is a good place to go to!

Bravo saves you when you need something while you are cooking. Location is convenient, about 5mn walk, 2mn drive from home. The range of products is very wide, price is a little expensive than supermarkets but we understand it is a retail store. Staff is welcoming and dynamic.

This place has gone to "selling expired food hell". I'm so disappointed because it is the closest market to my house. I am NOT shopping here anymore!! It is the 3rd time I've shopped and bought an item that has expired. This time pissed me off because it was baby food. Expired by 5 months!!! That's the problem too they sell items that have been expired for MONTHS not Days or weeks!! MONTHS!!! Now I understand that I should check which I usually do with milk etc. but I think it's disgusting that they sell food that has clearly perished MONTHS AGO!!! All I have to say is BEWARE of this market!!!!

Found this place while looking for a Mexican grocery store in the area that apparently closed down. Place is like a mix of an associated and a c-town. I was able to find a good selection of the Latin items I was looking for and the place was very clean. The aisles were still very tight to shop. Some of the prices on produce were very good, some other items seemed really high. Mexican coke products with real sugar and tomitillo's were the score of the trip.

I have to edit this review from my earlier one. When it originally replaced the C-Town, it seemed like an improvement. But sadly the old ways are back. Just walking past this place you get a stinky whiff, and the paint on part of the building is peeling off. Always creepy people hanging around too. This is the kind of place you go to if there is no other choice, for the necessities. The typical milk, bread, eggs, etc. There isn't much of a bakery to speak of, and the selection is limited. You'll often pay higher prices than that of a regular full service supermarket. For example at Stop & Shop you can get a Gallon of water for 89 cents, but the cheapest here is $1.29. I wouldn't buy meat here and check the dates because they sell some outdated stuff. It is a typical ghetto-style market, which goes against the positive changes going on here in Westbury to make this a nicer town. Replacing the Bravo with a nicer place to get food in this town would be nice. Can't even stomach shopping here anymore and now have to travel out of town to get groceries, and its not easy when you don't own a car. It's generally how these kinds of places survive, since there's no other choices close by. I really hope by writing this review this place can be replaced with something better. Until then I have the pleasure of lugging bags of groceries on the bus from Fairway or Stop & Shop, and depending on rides from friends. Westbury deserves better!
