I had the pleasure of working w/Nicole Vargas re: the purchase of my NOW two bedroom Condo. Nicole was NOT ONLY Professional and always responsive but thoughtful! This goes a LONG way when you are going thru the process of credit reports and more credit reports. Lets face it, Its painful! But when Nicole called, it didn’t feel that way. Michael Vasallo at Financial Equities, gives big promises in the loan application process, however once the process starts and time comes to lock rate and closing arrives, he would be not reachable via phone/email. He will provide a high interest rate and obligate to buy down discount points. Will not entertain market fluctuation of change 0.25%, previously promised. Mandates to sign back dated document at closing or cannot close. There is no alternate manager or contact at Financial Equities who can help. No one at closing department or any departments at Financial Equities will respond, unless they need documents from the applicant. In any case the loan will be sold to a large bank or financial institution before 1st loan payment.Horrible experience, not recommended. Waste of Time and efforts, very stressful.

Working with Steve was an absolute pleasure! He made our first time home buying experience seamless, and secured us with an incredible rate that couldn’t be beat! He is extremely thorough and efficient and explained everything to us every step of the way. He always took the time to answer all of our questions and made this process as stress free as possible. One of the worst consumer experiences I’ve ever had. I trusted Tom Marino who was aware that this was my first time purchasing a home. Tom initially was very helpful but it was only so he could take advantage of me. Once I sign my mortgage commitment that’s when everything changed and when I went to try and lock in my loan he stalled and ignored me for 12 days before locking me in at a much higher rate. Also forced me to pay $2000 commitment fee which apparently was unheard of. I did get the money back at closing. STAY AWAY!!!!

If I could describe the word NIGHTMARE in one human form, that would be this inhumane person that's named Thomas Boyle. He along with his team at financial equities, are the ABSOLUTE WORST to work with. Tom and Financial equities, successfully single handedly ruined our whole cash out refinance project. I relied heavily on these "experts" from a recommendation from a respected realtor. What Tom wanted done here for me was actually illegal on all levels - yet he has the professional here, whom I relied heavily on, never once mentioned that. I should have known being Tom in his Slick nature, would never write things out in email, text or anything that he thought could have any sort of proof. He only liked to call and have phone conversations because I came to understand everything he was trying to advice was illegal and against his banking association licensing. Luckily, we were able to record many of the conversations - being that I had an idea why TOM REFUSED TO PUT ANYTHING IN WRITING. My one and only advice from anyone reading, is to stay FAR AWAY! If you deal with this rude, inhumane, racist monster, PLEASE GET EVERY SINGLE DETAIL IN WRITING! If you look up "Financial Equitties" along with their owner, you will see the the CIVIL LAWSUIT that had occurred a few years back. This whole team here is full of croocks and not the brightest people you will talk to. They will Scheme you for every penny, charge you crazy points, tell you that "documentation fee" is standard as origination points, push a guaranteed 30 day closing to 3 months of wasted time, talk down upon you like you are stupid (though ironically you are brighter than anyone in that fake office) and then ultimately throw your loan away like your some piece of garbage because Tough Tom doesn't like you questioning his illegal ways. I suffered tremendously because of them but will keep my fight going. However, If I could help anyone reading this as their due diligence, I will consider that a small victory in this battle. Don't be fooled by these fake "perfect" reviews for this guy and his terrible company.
