Have been donating here for 2 decades. The last time they didn’t take my donations because I didn’t have BBBS on the bags. The guy that answered the phone was nasty and condescending. Fast forward I rescheduled the pick up and no one ever came. I’m sure it was the nasty sis that answered the phone. I’ll take them off my list. Plenty of need out here.
They need to better train the staff to speak to people.

Great experiece with customer service over the phone. I was looking to donate some incontinence supplies today.I was informed what BBBS does and does not accept (no open packages) I made arrangements for a pick-up, was told how to label and where to leave my donations.I was also told that I will receive a reminder call prior to my pick-up date

Got a email pick up starting again stop because of covid. Called got a pick up date following week pick up all my items. No problem making an appointment or pick up.thanks!!!

I’ve said it before I’m going to say it again..... BBBS is awesome. There is very little that they won’t take! Unlike other organizations who are very picky about what they will take and what they will not take even though the items are in excellent condition.Having to wait a little extra on the telephone to schedule a pick up is minor in comparison to how wonderful this organization is to the community. So all you moaners whiners and complainers please remember it is always for the greater good!

Our donation to the Westbury location came after a large clean-out. Five lawn & leaf bags of clothing with tags attached, boxed gifts, used clothing, and many items from decluttering. The gentleman helped unload the packed SUV and left everything but the clothing outside the drop box. We voiced our concern over the rain and he said the driver would be there to pick it up by 3pm (it was after 1pm).
