If could give zero stars I would. Every Monday night I promptly set out my garbage knowing TUESDAYS are Orchard Park’s garbage days. As soon as I wake up Tuesday morning almost every week, I watch the garbage truck drive right past my house. I have even recorded them and supplied that footage to WM. Not only have I called and complained several times, but so has my landlord. Every time I’ve called they’ve reported my garbage never being at the curb. They have purposely skipped my house for FOUR MONTHS straight. And I have never violated any of their rules. I am tired of hearing apologies and that they’ll send someone out to grab it (WHICH THEY ALWAYS NEVER DO). Absolutely the worst town I’ve lived in with dealing with garbage people.

They perform to what they promised. They're consistent and punctual. And the customer service on the telephone is very good

Working for Waste Management was the worst experience of my life. Management don’t enforce lunch breaks for the workers. The company is very misleading when it comes to pay. It’s a tough job working 10 to 12 hours a day with no lunch break then to have your time altered at the end of the day saying that you did have a lunch break is unacceptable. I contacted HR about this and quickly realize that HR is only here to protect the company and not the employees. It’s been over a year and I still haven’t heard anything back from HR regarding my issues and concerns. I can go on and on about my experience there, maybe write a book lol. I fear that others will have the same experience I had there and that’s not right. Now that I moved on with a new career in a managerial position, I proud myself on being a great manager, and I owe you guys for being such horrible managers. Worked here for 3 years as a driver, around WNY between 2016-2019. Took pride in my job (no messes, prompt service, and going above and beyond for the customer.) Fast forward 5-6 years I’m a customer in orchard park, and the service is terrible! Recycling is spewed across my yard more often than not, garbage is collected on time but also left with messes or the tote in the middle of driveway. One time I called for a missed pickup (my own fault) with a brand new baby at home, I left a note with 20 cash for driver/helper for the inconvenience. And was ghosted. Mind you, I worked here, and Its not hard to take pride in your job and leave no messes and provide good customer service. I know these drivers/helpers by name from when I worked there. If you can’t take pride in your work find a new career.

Look, the service is excellent however, why is the cost going up? My latest bill is $175.00. I'm 73 years old, live alone and average one small kitchen size bag a week. Sometimes one and a half. My recyclables maybe once every 4 weeks I'll have something. Now I know landfill and fuel costs are up, but I don't understand why I pay as much as others who quite often can't even get the lid closed all the way. You should treat your senior citizens a with a little more consideration.

You're likely paying a different price than your neighbor for the same service. We discovered after 20 years we were paying $210 / quarter while our neighbor was paying $125. When I called to cancel service, they offered to lower the rate. No thanks, I'm switching to a more honest competitor.

Waste management does a good job at picking up your garbage. The workers are good, they never leave a mess. The cost for waste management gets higher every year though.

Rates constantly going up far above acceptable rate. Customer service cant answer your questions, and never return you call. Added billing charges with no explanation. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

No recycling pickup for two week in a row. Very frustrating when the trash is building up. Others on my street same issue. People are chan companies. My bill is going up and no trash being picked up. WHY ?

Extremely disappointed with service. Pickup missed 3 weeks in a row. Had to call 3 times and on hold for an hour before able to reach someone. Trash was picked up for 2 weeks and missed again on the third week. My neighbor across the street was picked up. I'm at the end of a dead end and bin is out in the open with access. What gives WM?? Where's the credit I was suppose to receive for the 3 weeks now 4 weeks of missed service. Absolutely appalled by the incompetent service of your driver and operators. Still on 45 minute hold calling West Seneca office.

195.00 per quarter is insane when I empty my trash once every 6 weeks. Need another option for those of us who create less waste...but I've been fighting this fight for some time and it falls on deaf ears...choose another company maybe they will listen
