All I have to say is Piss Poor. I bought a 2001 Buick Regal from them in 2008, it had 96,000 miles on it and I paid about $400-$500 less than the Blue Book value at the time. The car was in good shape visually and drove well. About 4 months after I left with it the whole power steering system went ($1200 to repair). A couple other minor routine repairs that we no big deal... then it was time for my next inspection. The wrong catalytic converter had been installed (according to two shops) causing it to fail inspection. Once this was replaced (approx. $500) it still did not pass. I had to go to 3 different shops for them to finally figure out why (the 3rd one being a buick dealer). Behind the instrument panel there were cut wires disabling the computer system and therefore removing the dreaded check engine light. ($650 to fix). I now passed inspection. Next year same issue with the check engine light. Another shop found it to be a bad computer and replaced that ($400-$500). During this time I tried contacting the dealer and all I received was a mouthy a** who blamed everything on me. He was of no help. The BBB was of no help and neither was the DMV who told me he must have manipulated something to get it to pass the inspection the 1st time then cut the wires. All in all I am finally done with this car and have a new one and I would NEVER consider purchasing a vehicle from Southern Classics again and I would NEVER recommend it to someone else. Thanks for the POS!
