Ilana is the absolute best!!! I had a wedding dress nightmare that needed fixing pretty last minute, and she got me in and completely fixed my dress in time for the wedding. I didn’t even need to say a word- she just looked at it and knew exactly what needed to be done. She is amazing at what she does and is a perfectionist. 100000/10 recommend her to all brides!

I used Ilana for my wedding dress, guest dresses, my bridesmaids dresses and a coat and they all turned out so beautiful. I received so many compliments on my dresses. She takes her time and makes sure everything is perfect! Very affordable and efficient! ♥️

I dropped my dress off on may 5th, for an 8/26 wedding. At the appointment for the final fitting/pickup, nothing was done. The pins were still in it, she hadn’t touched a thing. She explained that she had been extremely busy and asked for more time. I agreed.She didn’t call ahead of time so I actually came and put the dress back on to find out that nothing had been done, but I figured it was just part of being overly busy and I agreed.She reached out asking for more time, again. I agreed.However- at 8:30PM the night before my (now twice rescheduled) pickup appointment she called to ask for another week. I explained that I wouldn’t be in town then, and asked her if it was possible for her to have it done before I left town. She said yes.At this point I understandably had lost all confidence in her. I asked her to do JUST the hem figuring that the rest of the dress fit well enough, so if she could just do the hem in time for my wedding I would be okay. that would mean me giving up on the bustle, which was fine with me. I just wanted to be able to wear my dress!I called Tom and Luigi’s just to see if they’d be able to help me last minute in case she didn’t end up pulling through. They were booked through the end of august. I explained my situation and they said they would squeeze me in.I contacted ilana to ask her to remove her pins so that I could pick up the dress to bring it somewhere else.When I got there to pick up my BRAND NEW dress, not only was it not worked on, at ALL- it was now DIRTY AND STAINED. so I ended up spending a little more at Tom and Luigi’s to have a clean dress.I’m very easy going. Yes, even about my wedding dress. And I can understand an accident. A handful of mistakes even. The issue is that ilana provided no excuse, explanation, or apology.In fact, her and the other woman there laughed at me like high school bullies when I came to pick up my dress.Ilana might try to defend herself in the comments here and that’s fine, because I have every text message we sent back and forth and I can prove that every word I’ve said here is the truth.I also have my receipt from Tom and Luigi’s, proving that even though ilana had my dress in her possession for 3 months, it was Tom and Luigi’s who cleaned, hemmed (and bustled! :) my dress.

Had an amazing experience getting my wedding dress altered here! Ilana was extremely friendly, meticulous and made my dress fit to perfection. I had quite a few alterations done on the dress and the price was very reasonable! Highly recommend Sew Classy Boutique!!

Illana is AMAZING. She is beyond reasonably priced, and does such a great job, she goes above and beyond and wants to make sure you are comfortable and the fit is perfect. I have been coming to her for years for bridesmaid dresses and got married earlier this year and the experience with my wedding dress blew me out of the water. She constantly made tiny tweaks to things I didn’t even know needed it and I could not have asked for anything better with my dress. I tell everyone I know to go see her for all of their alteration needs!

Ilana was fantastic! I highly recommend her for your alterations! I had 5 or 6 fittings because she wanted to make sure everything was just right. In addition to a hem, the waist taken in, and the shoulders brought up, I needed an additional piece in the front and lining put in the back. She made sure everything was perfect and that I felt beautiful! She was very kind and patient! My wedding dress was perfect when I walked out with it! Thank you!!

Ilana was highly recommended to me for alterations of my wedding dress. I had 4 fittings and each time she was professional, friendly, and helpful. She listened to what I wanted. She meticulously brought my vision to life. Her pricing is extremely reasonable. She makes sure you are completely satisfied before walking out the door. I'm so glad I was referred to her and will make sure anyone I know that needs alteration services goes to her!

Family member took wedding dress 2 months in advance to have alterations done. She was fed empty promises to have it done next visit. Each time hearing the same thing. With 2 weeks before the wedding she says she won't be able to do it and take it else whate.Take it how you want it. But if you want hassle free alterations take your business else where. This is not a serious person to deal with.

Don’t waste your time and nerves here. I gave her my dress two months before my wedding and she promised it would be done in one month. She had me come in 3 times to do the same measurements we did the first time. Forgot about my appointment once, so each time I came to try on the dress we started from scratch by taking measurements because she didn’t do a single thing. After getting very upset with her she assured me she would finish the dress in time and it would be perfect, then calls me right before my supposed to be last fitting and tells me to take it elsewhere because she won’t have it finished. Would have saved me lots of trouble if she was honest from the start. Terrible experience!!
