My personal experience with Eclipse was uneventful. I ordered from them because I wanted The RayBan Wayfarer. When I saw another Dentist with them I was in love. I purchased mine in January 2020, right before we were officially into the pandemic. James stayed in contact with me the whole time. There was a little delay due to the pandemic, but it wasn't terrible. Since our office was closed from March 17- May 5 it was pressing. I already had a good pair of loupes, but I WANTED the RayBans. I did end up receiving my loupes before we opened back up and they have been going strong ever since. I have had them for close to 2 years without any issues at all. The light is nice and bright and they loupes are everything they said they were and everything I wanted. Im glad I didn't read some of these other reviews before I purchased mine, or I may have not ordered. I can only speak for my own experience with Eclipse. Mine was stellar and I would hesitate ordering another pair from them if I am ever in need. I have also recommended them to several Dental friends who ALL love them. None of my friends have had any issues either. Shipping was slightly delayed, but I'm talking by a few weeks. Which was understandable with everything that was happening.

Horrible would be an understatement, extremely poor service, wouldnt recommend to any dental students. Please spend your money elsewhere, these people at Eclipse/New Age Image dont care about the quality of the product and your time.

This is a scathing review of what is probably the worst loupes company out there. Not that I can review the loupes themselves because more than 5 months later i have still not received mine!
With a F BBB rating and 2 stars on google this review should not come as a surprise.
I ordered a set of loupes in March at the Pacific Dental Conference. My charge of $769.27 went through on March 7, as we all know on March 16 the world exploded and COVID. I called the office immediately and asked for a stop production on my loupes and a refund, telling them that once we were back to work i would happily complete my loupes order again. I also emailed the office and the customer service rep.
I spoke with a woman on March 16 and was told that she would "see what she can do and get back to me" That never happened. I called the rep directly on April 6 and was told that now their offices are closed. They can refund my most recent charge (a second payment) but not my original charge due to their POS system not allowing charge backs (b.s)
Fast forward to June 1 and everyone is back to work. I messaged the rep again and said that since i had still not received my refund i would like my loupes sent out. I was told that they would be shipped in 2-3 weeks at the max.
8 WEEKS LATER. No loupes. I contacted the sales again, by text message as to continue with the documentation. I let him know that he had 48 hours to refund my credit card or i would report them to the BBB, Dental Town, Google and PDC. He said my loupes were sent out and it would take a day to track them (more b.s) but i let it slide cause im an idiot, clearly. I let him know, though KEEP YOUR LOUPES AND GIVE ME MY REFUND.
I find out later that my loupes were sent USPS (no tracking info provided so i dont believe them) and missing items from my order. The rep told me that he would send me a tracking number ( back on July 28) i still havent received one as of the time that i am writing this review.
The rep now says to me he will COURIER a new set of loupes, with my missing items and a 'free pair of Raybans' on Monday (aug 3) and also give me the tracking number the same day.
I agree to this stating that i ONLY agree if absolutely no further charges come out on my credit card. He says thats not a problem and he will send the loupes, 2 batteries and sunglasses courier Aug 3.
On august 5 i asked for my tracking number. I am then told that his 'boss' wont allow him to send me my promised items because they would be 'losing money'. This is NOT MY PROBLEM, we had an agreement in writing (text) my order should have been sent 2 days ago.
So now I have no refund, no loupes and no information.
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS. STICK TO A LEGIT COMPANY THAT WILL ACTUALLY PROVIDE YOU WHAT YOU ORDERED WITH NO EXCUSES. My colleague ordered Univet from ITALY and we all know how hard thay got hit with COVID, yet he received his loupes 6 weeks after his order, which was the same day I ordered my loupes back on March 7

I bought a pair of custom TTL loupes during the congress and waited for four months instead of promised two. The customer support was unreliable and kept giving me different reasons for my order to be delayed. Finally, when I received my loupes the IP distance was wrong . When I contacted the company, I was asked to return the loupes at my own expense and to pay for them being rebuilt at 350 dollars.

I met these gentlemen at the AGD. They were professional and courteous. Had an initial issue with the loupes which was immediately rectified. Over the years, I have continued to use them for my needs as things arise. Strong work. Dwight Duckworth, DDS

What a horrible disgusting person to work with! Horrible customer service. Very low quality products. They will never fix anything even though there is a lifetime warranty. I hope people don't waste their money here.

I wish I could give them -10 stars they are awful I purchased loupes a year and a half ago I had to return then 3 times and they are still not right told me they will have to rebuild them again all I asked was for them to pay the return or give a refund and now they won't even answer my phone calls PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! Save your money and the headaches very disappointing

NO NO NO. Don't waste your money. poor quality work, lasted few months only. Poor customer support, they don't stand behind their products and the warranty is fake, they'll charge you regardles.

Worst customer service EVER!! The owner came to our school and assured us that if we bought his brand frames that we would have them in 3-4 weeks. More than half of my class ordered from this company. I ordered mine that day (1/17/20) and my card was charged that day. No one received any contact from them for weeks. After repeated calls from my classmates, we finally received an email that said "thank you for choosing eclipse. Your loupes are in production." This should have been emailed to us right after we purchasing them. One of my classmates was told she could cancel her order and receive only half her payment back as there's a restocking fee. I finally called after 7 weeks. I was told that my loupes are done but they were waiting for the light. Then she paused and asked if I wanted my loupes sent and they would send the light later. It took another week to get my loupes. They never sent an email saying "your loupes have shipped, here's the tracking number." They also gave no directions for how to clean or take care of them properly. This company is a failure and I wish I could have cancelled my order without penalty and ordered from a more reputable company. I don't think they will not be invited back to my school.

I wish I could give this company zero stars as I purchased a set of loupes at a conference and was told turnaround would be approx 2 months. I still don't have the correct loupes ONE YEAR LATER! The customer service is incompetent telling me " it should ship within the week" and not shipping for another 2MONTHS! I had to return my loupes and spent 70$ on insurance and shipping fees because they did not put my prescription in the barrels. 6 months after sending my loupes back they return to me WITH NOTHING CHANGED! I have no idea how they operate and with such utter miscommunication and deceit. Hopefully JD can get this issue resolved and I will edit with an update but I hope it does not take another year. Steer clear of this company at all cost, a complete waste of time and money with nothing but an abysmal customer service experience.

I ordered a pair of loupes from Eclipse at the BDIA dental Exhebition in London UK in October 2019. today is February 7th 2020, I was told they would be in my office about 3 to 4 weeks. Obviously not !!!!! After many emails, they clearly sounded like they are not even sorry about the delay. The biggest issue is the poor communication and giving incorrect and false information. They did not email or contact me giving updates or letting me know about the state of the production or reason for delay. I had to ask about everything and also asked them many times if they can't deliver them .....then….I need a refund , again no respond. My friend prior to my purchase advised me not to, and they are the worst company to choose from as he had the similar issues with them on his previous order a year before but the Sales Person there (Chris) reassured me it is not true !!!!!!! EXTREMELY POOR COMMUNICATION AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. STAY AWAY ……. I don't even know if I get my loops..... choose wisely !!!!!
