Owner was swearing about a door being open in front of my young son. It was a hatch door to a kids play area and a rear door to another room. I know it was the owner because he gave the classic response "I'm Peter Buszka! I'm the owner!". Told him he should put a sign up on the door saying don't open it if it's a problem. Real piece of work. You can tell he doesn't like kids there even though there's two areas to entertain them. Oh and the bathroom is absolutely disgusting, the toilet couldn't even be flushed bc it doesnt have a handle. I highly recommend you find another place to mourn your loss. Peter is not professional at all.

We are so thankful we chose Buszka Funeral Home for our mother's visitation, service and reception. Peter and his staff were professional, accommodating and compassionate. We had it in December and the funeral home was tastefully decorated for the holiday season which felt "homey" and peaceful during a very difficult time. The visitation was lovely in the beautiful "parlor" area and the slideshow Peter helped us put together was touching and a great display of our mother's life. Peter and staff also helped us display our family pictures around the parlor by providing easels and setting them up. Immediately following the visitation we had a service in the Chapel across the foyer. Peter helped find us a clergyman to do the service. The clergyman spent time with our family getting to know who our mother was and he provided a very special and personalized service. After the service, the attendees were invited downstairs for a catered reception which Peter coordinated for our family. His staff took care of all of the details so we could spend time with our family and friends honoring our mother's journey in life. The entire facility (parlor, Chapel and downstairs reception area) is beautiful, warm and welcoming. Many of our friends commented on how lovely everything was and that it was a memorable tribute to our dear mother. On behalf of our entire family, we will be forever grateful.

Our Father had his wake here in Dec 2023. The Director Peter makes you feel like you have been his friend forever. His personality fits very well in how he made this church into a beautiful and peaceful gathering for family and friends to come together and share their grief and honor our Father.I live in NC and told him when I die I want to have my wake here. My Fathers wake was one of the most beautiful wakes I have ever been to. Dad would have loved Peter he is very funny and caring and I thank him and all his staff for all that they did for our Family .God bless you and be proud of the atmosphere you have created it made a big difference for all of us.

I would recommend Buszka Funeral Home to anyone and everyone without hesitation. Peter is so warm and friendly, he ends up feeling like family. He can be serious and lighthearted so your arrangements are handled professionally, but without feeling gloomy. Victoria was also so helpful and accomodating. The little dog and birds were delightful! We just had my father's visitation and service at Buszka on Union Rd. It's decorated so beautifully and so cozy. It was wonderful being able to chat with visitors in what felt like home, but with touches of the outdoors throughout. You truly can't imagine the inside from outside. Everyone who came commented on how lovely and gorgeous it was. How they executed everything from the beautiful candle with my father's photo, the video, and everything else was just fantastic. My father's final send off was as beautiful and natural as we could imagine. We are so glad we chose Buszka. Thank you for taking such great care!

Buszka Funeral home was amazing!! Peter and his other workers were all the greatest. Dealing with a death of a parent is no easy thing, and it was the first for my siblings and I. Peter made the experience so easy and he made you feel so at ease about everything. He didn't try to over 'sell' anything. He explained the entire process. He assured us that my mom was safe and respected throughout the entire process. He really made you feel like a friend. The memorial for my mother was short but beautiful. We met each time at the funeral home on Clinton St, which is beautiful, but mom's memorial was at their facility on Union Road which is amazing. You do not get a funeral home vibe from it at all. The decor is beautiful. My mom passed in March and her memorial was in June. Peter stayed in contact throughout the process. He met with us to go over things beforehand. They really treated us like family. The day after her passing, we cried with him and he was compassionate and caring, and gave us all the time we needed. Mom didn't have anything planned, so he explained options, and went through everything with us. I would recommend Buszka to anyone. When you do call, you may have to leave a message, but either Peter or his helpers will call you back. They also have these little dogs. Awww... I walked out of the office, sat on a cough by myself and cried, and out of nowhere this little adorable dog was at my feet. He must have known I needed someone at that time. For the process of dealing with a passing of a loved one, they were amazing. Highly, highly, recommended!

I have never seen such a beautiful place to view a loved one. From the breathtaking waterfall, to the birds, and gorgeous decor! It was a memory and gratitude I will personally never forget. Thank you from our family for going above and beyond for my Uncle Jeff Borkowski. MAY HE FINALLY REST IN PEACE.

What an amazing place, very contemporary, uplifting, and updated. A good friend of mine had their viewing and funeral there. Peter was amazing to work with. I did the music for the funeral and he was super easy to work with, very accommodating and supportive. This location has only been open a few years and very few people know about it. It does not look at all like your traditional funeral home. It's not boring, or drab or depressing. If you're looking for a place for a this is a good place to start. If you view the inside you will understand why. Your friends and family will be absolutely comfortable because it feels like someone's well-appointed living room with fireplaces, contemporary and comfortable furniture, a TV screen to view pictures on, and plenty of space to stand around and talk. I hope that more funeral homes see this as an example. moreover, there was no traveling to a church as there was a sanctuary on site that was well set-up, comfortable, and a sound system so that everything could be clearly heard. Peter, you are a blessing to those in times of their deepest needs. Thank you for the hard work you put into making such a place.

Words cannot describe this place. Peter and his staff are amazing and the new location is gorgeous. Peter outdid himself. It is the most warm and welcoming place you could imagine and I will recommend them to anyone that will listen.
