I often check target app before going to target to make sure they have the item in stock that I am going there for. Lately I have a hard time finding the item it's not where it's said to be or they don't have it at all. The last straw was I did an online order for pick up. I ordered 2 things that they claimed to have in stock. If they didn't have item in stock it wouldn't be available for online pickup. I ordered both items. The money was deducted out of my bank account and then I received an email that both items were out of stock and I could select a new store. I select the target one town over, claims both items are available. I later receive an email that my order has been completely canceled due to items not being in stock . Giving me no option for shipping or picking a 3rd store. I contact customer service and they offer me free shipping I go to place the order and it will not allow me to purchase without spending a minimum of $35. Making this an extremely inconvenient situation, forcing me to go back to giving Amazon my business.

The store is fine but the staff is incompetent apparently. When we arrived here at 5 PM the bathrooms were horrendous. They have signs begging you to tell store employees if the bathrooms need attention. We went to the front desk and told them the bathrooms were extremely gross and needed some cleaning ASAP. The lady at the counter was rude and acted like we were being dramatic and turned around and left. We continued about our evening in the mall and now almost 5 hours later at 9:45 PM we are leaving. I walked over to the bathroom again and silently prayed it had been cleaned. Nope. They completely ignored us and now the bathrooms are ten fold worse to what they were when we arrived. Their is urine, p**** blood, bloody tampons, and a pile of pubic hair on the sink. WTF??? This is absolutely horrendous and disgusting especially being left like this ALL DAY!!

I find this Target to be okay for the most part, but the service here could be better all time around. Most of the things that draw my attention were some of the departments were not kept up such as clothing, and toys being left leaving a big massive mess. It's very understandable that it may be understaffed, but it also needs reliable workers to do their part effectively. Many times on my visits here, this will occur. With the great products to offer, take note of my review and tips mentioned.

Had a bad experience at this store today. Purchased several items and saw a big sign for the Ghirardelli chocolate for $5. It did not ring up the correct price at the register. Maryluz, with her scanner, told me that it was incorrect and the price was $5.29. She would not honor the advertised price and walked away after deleting it from my order. I went back and took a picture of the sign with the items under it. She rolled her eyes at me and said "oh well" and walked away. This is NOT how you treat a customer, especially when she clearly was wrong.

The manager of this store is a joke. Shelves are messy and nobody knows anything. Worst part is the checkout. 1 line for self service or cashiers. People who want 1 or the other are sent to the next whatever. I have left there without my purchase 4 times. Spoke to a manager who said I don't see a problem.

I am a loyal order ahead customer. Earlier this week I placed a large order ($135 worth of items) and had my husband pick it up. Despite him checking, he and target forgot a bag. Later when I got home, I reported the missing items missing and the target app told me I'd be getting a refund. It's holiday time, mistakes happen, no big deal. The next day we decided to reorder the missing items. When I arrived in the parking lot to pick them up the place was packed but luckily I was able to find a spot in the designated area. My order came out shortly and the customer service representative apologized profusely for forgetting the one bag earlier in the week. He told me he brought it out and it was in my trunk, along with the new items I ordered. He then proceeded to give me a $20 target gift card. When I got home I did have the refund in my account for the missing items. I was truly touched by the great customer service. This simple act restored my faith in the order ahead program and I will continue to shop at this target location. Great job!

This Target is really nice, it's inside a mall which is cool and they're going through a remodel but it's much nicer than the one in Bethel

Parents BEWARE!This evening, Sunday, September 26th, 2021 the oddest thing happened. I was in one of the toy aisles with my 3 year old daughter and out of no where a young female around 12 or 13 years old came up to me and asked me the most oddest question. She asked me if she can give my daughter a piggy back ride. I told her flat out "No", without hesitation. She then said "oh ok" and kind of lingered there for a few more seconds, so I told her "ok bye" and she then walked away. It all happened very quickly. I thought it was the most random and weirdest question to ask a complete stranger. For a few seconds after she left, I was dumbfounded and still kind of processing what just happened. I then grabbed my daughters hand and went to see where the girl headed off to. She was walking away at that point with another female who appeared to be a little older.Now I want to believe this exchange was completely innocent and maybe she just wanted to play with my daughter, but let me explain why I think this was actually a bit more sinister. When I first entered Target this evening, I was going down the stairs with my daughter and I saw the SAME exact young female walking up the stairs to exit the Target. She was with the other female that I saw her later meet up with. I did not take a good look at the other female she was with, but when I was entering Target, and the pair of females were exiting- the young female and I locked eyes. So a few minutes later, when I saw her pop out of no where in my aisle, and ask me if she can give my daughter a piggy back ride, I thought it was odd that I saw her a few minutes earlier exiting.Again, I do not want to believe that this was anything more then just an innocent attempt at playing with my child- but I was not born yesterday, and sometimes your gut doesn't lie. I truly believe my daughter was targeted. Malls are breeding grounds for child predators and human trafficking. These ring leaders usually send these young, unassuming people to do find other children. I can only imagine if I left my daughter for a few seconds unattended or if that young female was just a bit more aggressive...I left Target that evening still in a state of shock and amazement about what just happened. It wasn't until I got into my car and started really processing what happened that I started to freak out a bit. I first called this Target location and guess what? No one answered.I then called the Palisades mall security desk and he said that since they aren't affiliated with Target and that Target has its own security, that I would need to report it to Target. I told him that I tried calling Target but no one answered. He then gave me the number to the Clarkstown Police Station. I called the station and spoke to the dispatcher who then advised me to come in person to file the complaint. I asked him if he thought that question the young female asked was odd, and he did agree that it was definitely a bit odd and out of the ordinary. I will be going first thing tomorrow in person to file the report. Maybe what happened this evening was indeed completely innocent and I am just overreacting, and call me irrational, but what would you do if this was your child? And they did end up getting kidnapped (God forbid)? If I can at least help by giving you my story and just ask that you be vigilant, then I'll go to bed happy tonight knowing that your child is safe in their beds tonight as mine is.We must protect our children at all costs!

The worst Target I've been too.You can't even find a person to help you and when you do they are either on their phone chatting or gives you attitude for asking for help.Particularly in the electronics section. There was this associate today who was very rude. We asked for help to find a game for ps5 and she gave us attitude. She wouldn't help us right away and proceeded to help other customers acting like we don't exist. The worst part of it was she sold the last piece of the game to the customer who was there after us. My husband was so upset and when we called her out because of her attitude and poor customer service she proceeded to berate us. Wow. And it's only morning. She doesn't belong in this type of job. We're just happy we passed by Gamestop just outside Target and they have the game. And the staff at Gamestop have excellent customer service.
