I have been shopping here for years. Great store. just never thought to do a review. But Debbie at self checkout has been helping me for years and is happy to do it. same with Mary. There are more but i cant remember everyone but THANKS Debbie & Mary for making my weekly/biweekly grocery shopping bearable bcuz u care so much!!!

How they have people working the front with such a bad attitude. Last night Saturday (5/18 ) there’s was 2 employees by the self checkout , these younger gentleman and a much older female who I knew her from high school and she was a grade over me and older! I didn’t want this one item and I had ask the gentleman, he just posted by the wall look at me few times, laugh and ignored. Now the girl I feel she needs to get her life together. Just because my face looks different she had always gave me dirty looks since highschool. Since the guy didn’t come to help, she game. I ask her nicely to remove the chicken, she grab it from me, an asked so you don’t want it? Slam it on the register, start tapping the screen so forcefully , grab the chicken and walk away like I had done something to her? I really don’t care for you? It’s not my fault I look like this? God made me, that night made me HATE nyack shoprite .. wish caught you on video

The store is always well stocked, the produce section is excellent and fresh. The staff are very friendly and helpful. And I like to thank Maria and Debbie up front for always a warm hello and a smile on there faces , Always feel welcome

I have definitely seen improvements here the past few years. But there should always be someone open in the lane regardless how late it is if you’re open, there should always be someone to check you out. self checkout is a scam which basically involves you doing work that is not your job. Instead of putting a worker standing there doing nothing, put them behind the register and have them actually do something instead of making me do their job.

The absolute WORST shoprite. Don't shop here if you want to find everything you need and don't want to be walked into by the mindless idiots walking around without a care in the world toward anyone else. The aisles are far too narrow and people just have no common sense anymore. I am glad there are other stores in the county so that I don't have to relive the hellish experience. Their aisles also make no sense, there's no organic flow and you end up lost because things aren't shelved neatly. It needs a remodel asapEdit to add: oh a reply so soon? No thanks, I'm not emailing your company. Clean up your own mess

I have to say I don't know anybody that works at this store but someone has to know I'm extremely thankful for this young gentleman employee working in the refrigerated aisle named Kyle who was kind and awesome enough to go into the back and check to see if there was any Dole pineapple juice left; being there was none on the shelves and he took the time to go back there and bring a fresh box out. Those extra steps and that smile is exactly what more stores and supermarkets need. This was the only thing I came to ShopRite for....Thank You soooooo much!! A+ employee

Literally today I went to my neighborhood ShopRite and there was a roach on the handle of the shopping cart. If I had put my shopping bag in the cart I would have brought a little friend home. This isn’t the first time I’ve seen a pest in there but it’s my first time sharing. There was also a mouse in the bread isle during another one of my visits. I think I’m going to just either shop at the New City or Nanuet location until further notice.

I will say Rockland county is definitely not known for having great grocery stores, but this Shoprite had everything I needed and nothing was expired ?!

People still walking out without paying. Security non existent. Eventually paying customers pick up the tab.
