Covid diagnosis - called early this morning to see what to do since my exposure and respiratory symptoms.... Was advised to use expired Covid test on hand anyway, and tested positive. I received a callback within minutes from very patient & kind Doctor Kim with advice and a lot of instructions due to my medical chart on hand. This is a great practice and I don't understand why some people think otherwise! Most of my friends have no issue! Thank you

The receptionist response when I asked to come in today is, "We're aren't an Urgent Care!"

I to tell you how happy I am with Rockland pulmonary I've been going there for maybe 10 years the front desk to the checkout desk. I've never had a bad experience a matter fact I make it a point, which I never did in my life and I've been around a long time of stopping in the managers office to let her know !

Been a patient for many years, and have family members who are patients. In my opinion, my GP and Pulmonologist are 5 star doctors. Never have I had a long wait to be seen. Their patient portal is a great tool for test results, prescription refills, referrals, anyone questions. Had some serious medical conditions, and they were appropriately addressed and resolved to my satisfaction.

My Doctor is great however the office is not managed well. The phone system is time consuming and as a patient I can never reach a human on the first try, I always have to leave a message. I requested specific tests and the orders were not put in. I had to return for tests a second time. The orders that were put in were not signed by the doctor which is standard protocol, so I had to wait at the testing center while the office was contacted and negotiations were conducted to convince a clerk to submit a doctor's signature. I asked the office if they could put a note in my file so this doesn't happen again one to be told they can do it and I should ask myself next time. It is not efficiently managed.Very concerning, because the older I get the more I will need prompt care!

I love my doctor here but trying to get a refill or scheduling an appointment is like pulling teeth. Just to get a telehealth appointment for my refill I had to leave 3 messages and I never received a call back. It took until my fourth call to even speak to a person. This system is terrible and I miss when we had access to an app.

This office is poorly managed, staff seems overwhelmed, frustrated with system problems, and inadequate equipment and test results. I've been seeing my doctor over 20 years who just joined this practice and now have to find a new doctor.

This entire practice is great. I'm a patient of Dr. Shtrambrand, who is a 5 star primary care physician, but the whole office too has been attentive, professional, courteous, efficient, and genuinely concerned about their patients.

Get this, if you haven’t been here in 3 years, you’re considered “a new patient”. “New patients” can’t be seen the same day despite being sick. The receptionist explained your name and number go to another dept and they create a profile and the “new patient” gets a call within a week for an appt. Totally defeating the purpose of going to the dr for being sick! What a massive miss this practice is!

I have been a patient here for 20 years and I am leaving. There has been significant decline in patient care over the past couple of years. Prescription requests do not get filled, phone calls requesting appointments are never returned and the patient portal is inadequate. You cannot request appointments or request prescriptions in the patient portal. And the staff are sometimes very rude.

I have been a patient here for 9 years and have seen the situation decline over that time. If you call, they do not answer. If you leave a message, frequently it takes days to get a response if you get one at all. The office staff is always very apparently stressed out and often unfriendly and impatient. After multiple attempts to make an appointment over the phone with no call back received for weeks, I went into the office to do so, only to be told that I needed to call to make an appointment because they could not help me at the reception desk. How is that possible? When I did call, I was routed to a voicemail and waited days again to receive a call back. I am so frustrated to be stuck in this impossible loop and feel badly for anyone who is sick and dealing with this. If you need anything more than a yearly physical that you do not need to reschedule, I would think twice about this practice.

I have only continued to go here because I finally found a PCP that takes my issues seriously (however she was smart enough to leave the practice) and I have also been seeing my pulmonologist for 8 years now. With that said, I am currently searching for a new practice to go to. For the last two years I have had to jump through hoops and even show up to the office in person just to get questions answered or prescriptions refilled. The front desk staff is rude, doesn’t return calls, and if/when they do answer a call all they do is transfer you without information as to what is happening. As someone with asthma trying to receive pulmonary care, this is beyond unacceptable. I’m not even sure how they are still running to be frank. The second I find a new doctor I’m leaving and never turning back, I wouldn’t stay going to this practice if it were free.

i've been calling for the past two weeks to get a referral for the psychiatric department!! because they never listened in the first place when it was needed. the operators are so unprofessional they don't even listen to you just transfer you. even though they know no one will answer. how is this a professional place? hire better operators and train your people better. this is why people don't ask for help because no one listens.
