Brought my daughter - was brought into room and waited at least 30 mins. Finally i went outside to see if the doctor would see my daughter soon. They literally forgot we were in the room - the whole staff both inside and at reception were scrolling on their phones - very unprofessional- we willnever go back there

“Urgent” care is a tough business to run because you never know what will happen next. The medical professionals are all extremely thorough and they certainly know how to handle kids. They seem to have changed up the front desk staff from the original crew, who had zero people skills. They now have a lovely front desk staff. All things considered it is a wonderful facility.

This place only cares about money and doesn't care about their patients. It is run by the most stupidest people in the world. The employees are rather be on their phones, then actually care about the patient sitting in front of them. I would go to any other urgent care besides this one and

My husband went to this facility, and they were helpful and kind to him when he was there. Unfortunately, the physician never called in the medication he needed, or the pharmacy never received it. I gave them a call in the morning to request that the physician please call in whatever it was they discussed at the visit. The woman I spoke with was incredibly rude and stated she would not speak with me or disclose any of my husbands information and would only be able to put through medication at my husbands request. I explained that he is working the entire day, and I do not want any of the information discussed during the visit; I would just like whatever medication prescribed to be sent or resent to the pharmacy as they did not receive anything. Even after this, the representative still refused to speak with me at all. I have never had this issue with any other physician or urgent care facility. One of the rudest/most miserable people I’ve ever had the pleasure of speaking to.*I do want to note I requested to speak with the manager, Mike, and he was understanding and kind. He asked me my husbands information and let me know they would resend the medication noted on file. Although Mike made up for this employee, we won’t be back.

the front desk lady was very slow and arrogant,I waited 20 mins before I was told that BlueCross not accepted here. So whats the point for waiting?(only one customer before me and no one in the lobby)If YOU do not care about other people‘s time,no body cares about your business. Do you need to be smart enough to find out a way to notify your important policy on the wall? Do you need a high school diploma to think about a time-saving process? Why it is called “urgent care” if you only take very few insurances?(Maybe 2 out of 10?)Are you a for profit organization? If some one come here to waste half an hour,do you think they do NOT have a urgent situation or you just DO NOT care?BTW,there is no way to avoid this waiting time because called several times before arrival NO ONE can answer the phone!!!Disgusting place and staff!!!You should close your business asap,save the world!

i came here on a thursday morning after vomiting and not sleeping for 48 hours. i was shaking and sweating in the waiting room and i was brought in pretty quickly. every single person that came into my exam room was so incredibly sweet and comforting! by the end of my 2 hour visit (they had to run a lot of tests on me), i was feeling much better just from being around them. Dr. Peterman was very sweet to me when i expressed concern that i may faint during the visit, and made sure i was comfortable during all of the tests. even my blood work was pretty easy and i was dehydrated and prone to fainting from blood work! i will always come to this urgent care whenever needed

I was in acute pain to my right foot and I went here sealing treatment for my symptoms. My debit card was compromised so I had to cancel it the night prior and chose to seek medical attention for my foot and visit the bank after. I had the cash in hand and was more than able to pay my $20.00 copay. They literally turned me away and refused to provide treatment because I had cash instead of a debit card. I will never go to this place again

This place is disgraceful..! My 10 yr old son had to use the bathroom to the point he was going to go in his pants and the bathroom in the lobby was out of order .. I asked the 2 girls at the counter if my son could PLEASE use one the other bathroom’S . The door to the back was open n I could see there was an unoccupied bthrm .. the girls refused to let him go to the back n said to use the tanning salon bathroom.! WHO DOES THAT TO A CHILD THAT WAS ALMOST IN TEARS TO USE THE BTHRM.!! Not only should those girls be ashamed but the company should be ashamed having people like that work there … this took place on Sunday evening at about 5:00pm incase you’d like to know who the girls were

My daughter, who’s asthmatic, came in with covid symptoms and they “swabbed” her and rapid came back negative, I wasn’t convinced and bought a home test and that one was positive. I called them and when I asked to speak to the Dr they put on the manager….their response was for me to bring her back and reswab her for a pcr which takes 2-5 days…that defeats the whole purpose of bringing her there for the medication since she’s considered high risk…they really need to re-educate their MAs to do covid swabs because obviously they don’t know how…. Not the first time this has happened. DONT COME HERE FOR COVID TESTING ESPECIALLY IF YOURE HIGH RISK!

My human rights were violated at Optum Urgent Care, West Islip, NY. One of the staff was rude and disrespectful to me. It was addressed with the manager, because I defended my rights, the manager, Michael used a threatened tone towards me due to his staff inappropriate behavior. He told me he will call the police on me if I come to the office.I wish he treats everyone with dignity and respect regardless of their culture. "Ethic and Values" need to be addressed in this private business.NO EMPATHY!!!

I always have a great experience with the nurse practitioner Stephanie V. Every time I come in I always ask for her, she’s the best! She always makes me feel comfortable after every visit, she’s great at explaining certain topics, super sweet & patient.

I will never step foot in this "urgent care" facility again. I'm waiting 3 days for chest xray results. In one day I called 3 times and at 11pm figured they're not calling. The woman answering the phones flat out lied to me. I got no paperwork at discharge and when I called to get an activation code to set up a MyChart account she told me she would text it to me. Still waiting for that as well. Sorry not sorry but no good words for this place.

I came in with a severe sore throat (NOT Covid I tested negative twice), and thought it might be strep. I was barely able to swallow, talk, or breathe and the pain was excruciating. I decided to go to this “urgent” care, as I needed pretty urgent care. After 2 HOURS they finally called me. They were repeatedly declining walk-ins as I was waiting because there was only 1 practitioner on hand. After I was called, I still waited an additional HOUR to see the doctor and was left sitting in the exam room (still in unbearable pain). I might as well have gone to the ER I might have received faster service there.

Overall fast service. They allow you to book an appointment online before arriving to minimize your wait. Doctors are very friendly and at least make you feel like they actually care about your concerns. Highly recommend! A+
