The front end cashier was pleasant with great cust service skills. The pharmacy and team behind the counter was rude, yelled at me, treated me terribly. Being disabled they had zero compassion refused to assist in the way I needed, I could not stand on line, the line was extremely long, I was in severe pain, they refused to call me when my place in line came up since i needed to sit down, or help me if I couldn't stand in the long line. They completely ignored me after yelling at me, walked away, one pharmacy cashier yelled at another when he said he could help me, was told not to, I still have no idea why
The pharmacist was rude in person but that began over the phone before I came in whe i spoke to her 2 days prior. When voicemails were left the pharmacist that day they NEVER called back, that procedure to speak to a pharmacist is terrible. Not everyone has hours to wait to talk to a pharmacist, or have them just ignore your message. I used to work for CVS, I treat people the way I want to be treated, was still nice & kind while, my manager would not have tolerated any employee trading any customer, even rude ones that way. Being yelled at, they should be ashamed of how they treated someone who is disabled and never said anything rude to them, just dealt with their nastiness.

I’m leaving 5 stars because the pharmacy manager is a really kind compassionate woman who cares about her job and helped me and gave me such piece of mind yesterday with my medicine. She is really great.
However someone working in the pharmacy named Keith is very horrible to deal with. Did not want to see if any other nearby CVS’s had the medicine I need everyday and told me it wasn’t his problem and there wasn’t anything he could do. He put me on hold and must have pretended to search for it because he told me it was out of stock everywhere. I go there the next morning,Speak to the manager and she found it in seconds at a nearby location and assured me she would not let me be without my meds. Avoid a man named Keith if you need something important done by the pharmacy because he does not have any compassion or kindness.

I placed an online order for pick up for a few items. About an hour had went by and I received no email stating that the order was ready, so I thought I’d head over to the store. Turns out they never even picked out my items to begin with! But wait - it gets worse. I stepped away for a second, while they asked me to wait for them to go get the items. Then I realized one of the employees at the register asked another customer if they knew which aisle my items would be in and had them start looking for the items!! I politely thanked the other customers and told them to go home so I could assist the sales worker since this was MY order, not theirs. But what’s the point of placing an online order when I’m just gonna have to go there and pick out my own stuff anyway? Plus the employee picking out my items was not presentable at all. He smelled, looked dirty, his underwear was on display and he was repeatedly cursing to himself under his breath and saying he hates his life because his back was hurting. Needless to say, this was my first and last time at this CVS location.

It's a good thing they are open 24 hours be cause you're going to need it. Their pharmacy is horrendous and never ever has meds ready on time.

Terrible pharmacy - unprofessional! I have not met a nice person in this pharmacy and I have been going there for 6 year. I wish I could give negative stars. I’m a prescriber and every time I call I get put on hold for 40 min no reason! I literally ordered what I want through rite aid - took me 3 min. This lady was sooooo rude today, why I finally decided to put a terrible review ( cuz I am not one to put bad review). How can you be in a health care profession and be so rude! I literally hate this place! Shame on this place! No more CVS! Terrible people! Corporate doesn’t do anything. I have file a complaint in writing about my encounter with this place! Nothing has been done!

Worst experience here ever. I usually don't have a good experience at any CVS. This one used to be 4 or 5 stars when I was young and times have definitely changed. They can't keep the same people. The people they have are mentally overworked. Their system crashed and my journey began waiting 15 minutes for them to open the drawers back up. Next it took them 45 minutes to work on my medication. It wasn't long before the pharmacy tech pointed to me and shouted "you're here for the birth control right?"..... In front of a store full of customers.... I had to hold my mouth from dropping. The guy running the pharmacy obviously does not like his job. I just hope people's medications are safe and their data is stored securely.

This CVS features the dirtiest lot and most littered interior of any retailer in West Islip.I HATE shopping here with a passion.Today’s problem has nothing to do with the 1,000 pieces of trash on their exterior lease line nor parking lot. It has nothing to do with the 100 pieces of gum on the concrete before entering. Nor does it have anything to do with the many kids’ bikes near the entrance without one single bike rack. No, none of that! And, not even the 35+ pieces of trash on the inside carpets.Today, the problems are hospitality and service. I walked in and entered the waiting line for the pharmacy. The line guides were open and I walked to the cash register to pay my monthly Plan B bill. The Pharmacy Customer Service Rep, a blond 20-30 something named Marie said the pharmacy was closed. I said, “The line is open (no barrier), the pharmacy windows are up and I’m standing at the register next to the cashier. You’re open.”But, she pulled the cashier back and closed the pharmacy. Of course, as a longtime forced RX customer, that was an outrageous breach of Customer Service. No one was in front of me nor behind me.I did not need an RX or pharmacist.Given this insensitivity, I told her and other employees just how much I hate shopping here. It’s one thing to think how dirty the pharmacy must be given the premises; something altogether different to insist on upsetting a paying client. As a former PepsiCo Mystery Shopper for hundreds of restaurants, the mantra of HQSCPV ‘(Hospitality, Quality, Service, Cleanliness, Price & Value) is paramount to Management. So, if I did my share to thwart sales at the location and via social media, I am merely bearing witness. It’s a Company-wide concern when an employee creates such consternation with a stock shareholder.Decades ago, I would have written in my report that the employee should be placed on immediate probation, remanded to re-study CSR Training manuals and had this info placed into her employment jacket.Today, we’ll just let thousands see it on Google as well as the CVR web site. Tomorrow, of course, I’ll request her at the window and give her a copy of this—as well as the store manager and six other employees. CVS has enough customer service problems without your lack of customer care and there’s far too much competition as it is.Hospitality/
