Several years ago I had an issue with the Atlantic auto group. I have to say that I highly recommend them now. My 75 year old mother recently purchased a vehicle from them and they went out of their way to accommodate her . Then when her insurance company left NYS and dropped her the people at Atlantic Hyundai went out of their way to get her bonded. Then when her new insurance company needed a her to get a software update the service department bent over backwards again for my mom and got it done.

I had an emergency with my 2022 Tucson where it was not accelerating. I called up Advantage Hyundai where the car was leased from. They couldn't see me until September 5. I needed the car fixed in two days to bring my daughter up to college. I called my good friend Chris Tempesta, who now works at Atlantic Hyundai and he spoke to Tim the service manager and they got me in the next morning and they fixed the car for me very quickly. I had it back that day . The car had a bad fuel injector. Wayne my service advisor was a knowledgeable man and he helped me out very much. The service was excellent. 5 stars isn't enough .

Amazing dealership. Not pushy at all. Great selection, pricing, and helped explain the financing options. Ordered plates for me and followed up to see if I like the car after the lease. Would highly recommend the dealership and the car (Ioniq 5).

Good inventory selection, be wary of financing department
Update: Both cars I've gotten from this auto group have given numerous issues despite low mileage and the auto group has proven incompetence both in the service and sales departments. While the car issues may just be Hyundai in general, the customer service and inability to properly give any form of requested info is on them, please just save the headache and stay away.

My daughter and I and grandaughter ❤️ were looking for a used car for my granddaughter. We found a car and the sales person found us outside. He was very persistent but they usually are we went inside and he just got very condescending and talk to us like we were complete morons, his name was Patsy. I think he needs to be in a different mind of work. We got up and left and we’re no longer interested in the car there. I have never been treated like that and I would never go back there again.

Don’t trust this place and its employees!! Just want to make money off of you and take advantage. Severely overcharging for service! Lies and unmet promises during sales process just to make you buy the vehicle. Charging 800$ for a registration fee just because they saw a women and thought it’s an easy target! Promising 3 years of free service which in reality is only 4 appointment, nobody ever thought to mention that!
Liars just wanting to profit on you and put you in a bad situation!

Went to check out the inventory and see if there were any 2025 models in stock. Nope, not yet. Spoke with David the inventory manager that clued me in that the 25's were beginning to make their way in slowly, but September and October is when they'll be in season.
Nice people there. Atlantic Hyundai is located along a huge car outlet auto mall.
I might be inclined to revisit should I be in the market for a new or pre owned Hyundai.

I had an amazing experience with this dealership. Before I even walked into the dealership, I was recommended to see Dave speaking with him in advance was such a pleasure and he was so helpful. He guided me to see the The most perfect cars that were suitable for my 20-year-old daughter. He was extremely patient kind and very friendly. He was very honest about everything and truly took the time to spend over 4 hours with us. The general manager Anthony was amazing as well. he did everything he could for us regarding the details of the vehicle. My daughter left there so excited and we truly felt so valued as customers I will be definitely returning to this dealership and recommending them. Going to dealerships is usually a very stressful time. I knew when I left there that they took good care of us and did the right thing by us. Thank you so much, Dave

My husband and I had a great experience at Atlantic Hyundai. Our salesperson was Mike he is great, very friendly and professional. He followed up with us throughout the entire process for me to get my first car. Our experience was positive. We did not feel rushed or pressured during our time there. I love my new car!

Please be very careful before bringing your vehicle here for service. I would highly recommend going elsewhere. On 02/01 I was overcharged a significant amount, almost $2,000 for breaks, rotors and an alignment. The service was done that same day. After the service was done and the car was still in the service department, the dealership called me and also tried to push me into getting four brand new tires for $1400. I declined because I go to Costco for tires.
After the car was picked up, I reviewed with a close friend and former mechanic, he confirmed I was significantly overcharged for paying $2,000. When I called to question this, the service representative stated. "We already got the money" and hung up the phone.
When speaking with the service manager, the resolution offered was a credit of $250. The dealership advised that I needed cabin/engine air filters on 02/01 so on 02/08 I brought my vehicle in for the second time for this service and without being informed, was charged $170 for cabin/engine filters from the credit provided. Again, overcharged.
After picking up the vehicle on 02/08 my vehicle was completely off, shaking and swaying. I brought my vehicle to an honest, trustworthy longtime mechanic in Long Beach who confirmed and showed me that the alignment was not done.
I went back and forth with the service manager at Atlantic Hyundai who had taken absolutely no ownership or accountability for the entire issue. Finally, I caught them in their lie when the service manager sent a photo of an alignment check with the date of 02/08. I brought my vehicle in on 02/01 and it was allegedly completed then. Why was the alignment checked on 02/08 when I only brought it in for filters? Something very shady went on. Catching them in this lie, I was finally provided a refund of $245 and no one could explain why an alignment report was done on 02/08 when I “had the service done on 02/01”
Atlantic Hyundai clearly further damages vehicles. Please be careful. Get everything in writing, get proof of what was completed on your car and pay attention if your car feels off when you pick it up.

Today I had a service on my Hyundai palisade oil and filters , tire rotation, NYS inspection, check lights and everything they have very professional technicians. Not only that They were done in no time and I was on my way, my go to place for repairs. Thank you ATLANTIC HYUNDAI AUTO MALL. and TIM TURNBULL !
