Such a frustrating dealership that just wants to sell whatever cars they want, not what you want. Called on a Tuesday about a car that my husband and I were interested in to schedule an appointment for Friday. They then confirmed our 2pm appointment at 11am on Friday. I drive to the dealership that’s 2 hours from my home in New Jersey only to be told after 45 minutes of dilly dallying at the dealership that the car is in the mechanic shop and not available. The sales rep asked me “what did you like about that car, I can find you something else.” Like what? I came for a specific car, I scheduled this meeting 2 days ago, YOU confirmed it this morning at 11am and you knew I was coming from Jersey because I explicitly said it, and failed to mention the car was undergoing maintenance or repairs or whatever, waited until I drove all the way here to say the car was unavailable and try to sell me another car. Bizarre! The manager of the used sales Murphy seemed unphased, unapologetic, and basically said it wasnt his fault. So I don’t know whose fault it is that I scheduled this appointment two days ago and everyone failed to mention the car was not ready to be seen/driven today. Apparently they have to test drive the car before it can be given to a customer so I don’t know if they decided to test drive the car 5 minutes before our appointment or what but that was completely unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. The car was a 2024 white grand Cherokee jeep 4xe with 300 miles. No idea why it couldn’t pass a simple test drive even though there are no records of any issues on carfax. Apparently there was something wrong with the transmission.

Since day one off the lot between verbal promises being broken that I should have know better to get in writing but didn't due to the business shark nature of the dealer and fun number changes in the finance dept after having hard credit pulls . Now a year later into owning and chasing for good service and prompt answers from the repair dept and dealerships over all slackness to deal with their loaner car “shortage” for customers to stay on the road while they have problems with the car they bought from that very place . Do your self a favor go somewhere else .

Overall best experience in a car dealership. From Mike the manager to Kim who was patient with us through the numerous cars I looked at. I was in such a terrible position with my old car. They saw the problem worked through it with me. And gave me the best pointers for the future. I don’t think I’d go anywhere else in the future except Empire jeep of West Islip. I can’t thank each of them enough.

i called this dealership out of sheer desperation. my brand new truck had its panoramic sunroof implode . after 3 dealerships lying, string me along and not help. i called them . i asked if they would 1. accecpt good will from chrystler bc corporate said they would pay
2 look at my truck and let corporate know it want us who did it even tho they had the picture whcih we obvious
the glass was blown up like a triangle .
west islip calls me back and says well your gonna have to come here for me to do a diagnostic exam ( ??? it’s glass ??) and you have to pay that it’s 150/300$$ are you joking me . just to visually look at it .
than he adds and i’m booking out i don’t EVEN KNOW WHEN I CAN GET YOU IN! what kind of crap is that . my car is going to have no glad be a hazard and get ruined .
than he says and i won’t take good will from corporate you can pay they can pay you.
oh so i should have all this money in my pocket and if something should come up that’s extra i should fork that up too plus the rental car ?
no that’s why corporate would pay it so they get the big fat bill not me
this dealership was looking to make as much money as they could on an unfortunate event. it’s sickens me . my car is undrivable due to there basically no roof ! it’s a hazard and risk to me and others . my car is soaked from all the rain despite all my efforts to keep it dry and safe . all because whne people have power and authority they abuse it . i would not recommend ever going here or giving them any money for service. . don’t waste your time effort or money here !

Please do not buy or lease any jeeps specially a 4xe they suck!!! Mine is a brand new 2024 and it’s been in the dealership twice smh!!

WARNING!
I took my 2020 Ram Promaster Cargo van at 63,000 miles, in for a transmission fluid light that came on + needed a routine oil change. They told me I'd also need a tune-up - replacing all the spark plugs etc. They quoted me at $2.9k almost $3,000!
I told them I'd just deal with changing the transmission fluid + oil change and save the tune-up for later (need quite a few more shifts at work for this). Transmission: $699 + $130 for the oil change, before tax = Roughly $900
He tried to convince me that it would be unsafe to not get the transmission fluid changed at that time and that it could cause more problems later down the line. I thought ok don't want to be unsafe go ahead take my arm and leg. I handed the keys and they let me know it'd take about 4-5 hours.
5+ hours later I call the main store line.. no response. I call the service reps direct line (since he gave me his business card).. no response. So, I figure let me get down there and see what's up. I get there, and my vehicle is in the exact same place we left it.. they hadn't even touched it yet. A blessing in disguise.
The rep says "yea we're busy today we only got two guys on" So you mean to tell me, I came here at 8AM for no reason? I said, no thanks I'll take my vehicle back, I need to get to work.
I then take it to a local mechanic, who a good friend of mine recommended, to get a second opinion. That mechanic tells me that my transmission fluid is in great condition and that the spark plugs/tune-up normally doesn't need to be replaced till 100,000 miles. He informs me that the only reason that light came on is because my coolant levels were low. Transmission fluid is temperature dependent and if there isn't enough coolant to keep the temperature down, the light will go off. In total this man only charged me about $200.
DO NOT go here for service maintenance. They'll charge you an arm and a leg for something that doesn't even need to be done.

PSA-DO NOT use their service dept. $682 to replace headlight bulb n oil change. $435 labor for bulb and $37 labor for oil and the rest in parts. Stated took over 3 hrs to change bulb had to take off bumper. Ok I pay it. Go home and realize that the time between the message I received stating they were taking my car in and the message that my car was done was less than 2 hrs.. called service advisor Rob and questioned the time lapse. At first was told the car was not ready when he texted me that’s just when he put the paperwork in. Then proceeds to say it doesn’t matter if it actually took 1 hr or 3hrs because that’s what their book says to charge. WHAT??! BEWARE-you were warned.. DO NOT GO THERE. LIARS AND SCAM ARTIST!!!
