ZERO STARS. I have never written a Google review, but our experience was so bad I feel obligated to share to warn any future renters. My boyfriend and I had been renting a storage unit at the Henrietta location for years with seemingly no issue. When we tried to get our stuff out Sunday, we showed up at our unit to find a different lock on it. We tried to call but they are closed Sundays, so we called Monday. Company is extremely disorganized, customer service couldn’t tell us what happened and said it “might be” one of their locks that they replaced ours with for “security reasons” but they weren’t sure. The manager, John, didn’t get back to us until later that day to say it’s not their lock, but refused to admit that someone could’ve broken in because it has “never happened before”. He didn’t show up until Tuesday afternoon to break open the lock while my boyfriend was there and lo and behold, some of our items are missing. He didn’t even stay around to talk to the police. He was unresponsive, completely unsympathetic in every regard, and minimized our entire experience, saying “maybe” he could get security footage to us and talk to the owners about a “rental credit” but that he’d have to get back to me. He would not give me the owner’s contact information. How can a unit be broken into with items stolen and no one notices? That’s the entire point of storing your items in what is promised to be a secure facility. We took our things and left. DO NOT RENT HERE.

My storage was broken into by the company and a few of my items were stolen. Then they proceeded to put one of their locks on. I had to contact the office to get in and when the maintenance guy showed up he made a phone call, then turned to me and said I was in the wrong storage unit and that’s why they broke in. My 3 position dolly and my brand new still in the box dishes were stolen. And whatever else that I don’t know. Be careful

Very very disappointed to have business with Roc Self Storage, they will quickly take ur $ and bill you but will never let you move in. Staff never ever show up not even keep you updated in professional way. Very poor company and i advise everyone to avoid this storage company. Simply does not work in a professional way. They will hive you unit that already leased and keep you go merry round till you give up and you will never even see anyone to be there to assist you even after any appointments. My advise don’t pay anything till you got the unit or you will suffer greatly.

The owner or manager will never get back to you if you try to call or txt. Its cheap for a reason. Water and snow will inevitably get into your unit. Do not trust this place with your belongings.

Ontario location NEGATIVE 10 STARS.Do not recommend using this place.ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING !!.I lost a lot due to the leaking roof,stink bugs,eroding cement foundation, chipmunk infestation which left urine&feces all over my belongings..Owner I spoke with was very rude&un willing to do anything to compensate my loss.

I only needed storage for about a week but I was forced to pay for the the entirety of August plus the remainder of July. Terrible pricing model, will definitely not use this place again

We have had our storage unit for about 6 months now. I am happy to say everything is going great! We always have easy access to our unit. It is always well lit and clean when we are there and the pricing is the best around. I would highly recommend Roc Self Storage to everyone I know .

One of the best self storage facilities I have ever used. The space is clean and stays dry. I have a great space and the prices or extremely reasonable especially for the space you get. The security is great also, gives peace of mind that my belongings will stay safe.

Love love love this place. I have been a customer for 11 years. Since ROC Self Storage took over the facility the halls have been spotless along with the freshly paved driveway area. I would definitely recommend!!!!

I looked around and the price was the best and it was close to me. Nothing fancy but a good amount of space with really high ceilings and a seamless check in/check out process. I would definitely use again.

Great price and very responsive to emails. A pretty seamless move in and move out process, but if there’s any confusion just send them an email and it’ll get cleared up quickly. Only needed this for a month and it worked out well for me. Only complaint is that the doors were a pain to raise and lower. Also note that the small units are in a somewhat narrow hallway, which made maneuvering some bigger items a bit tricky, but still possible. I would definitely rent here again.

Our experience was horrible. Almost everything was covered in Black mold after 1 summer of storage here. There was very little we could salvage. This storage facility is close to RIT, the price is reasonable, the young woman who we spoke with was wonderful, but almost everything was ruined. We called to discuss this and basically we were told, "Oh, well". We will never go here again.
