We have been seeing Dr. Cutler for 12 years to take care of our cats & dogs. We would never trust anyone else! She is so knowledgeable, professional and she has a genuine heart as well that means a lot to pet owners. The staff at West Hempstead Animal hospital are all so great as well. You can tell they just love animals first and foremost by how comfortable our pets receive them when we come into the office.

Love the drs and staff here!! Caring and loving to all esp love that i can bring all my animals to the same place and not look for a Separate that for the hedgehog or the guinea pig.

Another money hungry vet with a rude receptionist.
I called asking if they offer any discounts for TNR or feral cat spay/neuter and was scoffed at by the woman who answered the phone. Then asked if i could just get a round about number for their normal spay neuter prices and was told i couldn’t get an estimate over the phone and would have to bring the cat in for an office visit first.
I need to bring a feral cat in twice to get spayed? They obviously don’t care about cats when it comes to keeping feral colonies under control. Very disappointing.

My family has been taking our dogs to West Hempstead Animal Hospital for 22 years now, and the staff have been consistently nothing short of amazing. I recommend them to everyone I know anytime somebody gets a new pet. Thank you for being so wonderful and always making Marty as comfortable as possible!

I am very satisfied with the clinic staff and with the care they gave to my Polito, who is a Guinea pig. They treated him with care and love and that is very pleasant. I feel very grateful for the good service they gave us.

We have taken our dog Ruby here since we got her in 2006. This year she turned 18 and we unfortunately had to put her to sleep this week. The staff at the west hempstead animal hospital was so kind and compassionate throughout the process. They explained how euthanasia worked and gave us extra time with her. They even gave us a clay paw print, a small tube with some of her fur, and a few days after, they sent a letter to our house extending their condolences with Ruby’s paw print in ink. We’ll cherish these forever ❤️
