Such a beautiful store! the fish department was clean not the slightest odor of fish. Great bakery, fresh bread all the time and beautiful cakes. There was nothing that you could not find in that store they have everything. The service was perfect also.

so that they have a service supposedly available if they are not going to provide it, they waste the person's time and do not look for a way to solve the problem money gram never has money in this establishment

I love the gourmet items in this shop. It's also super clean and well organized, almost like a Whole Foods. They've got Aro Chili too! Can't wait to put it on my noodles

On Thursday July 21 I was in this supermarket with my friend. My friend was online and a African American Man with sunglasses was standing next to my friend... The man asked my friend where does the line start.. My friend (who was the only one on line) told him "im on line so I guess behind me sir". The man then proceeded to start screaming at my friend "why should I have to get on line behind you because youre white and privileged"? At which point we realized that this man was extremely drunk. He continued to scream and shout at my friend (even while he was checking out) and it became very heated and scary. The man continued screaming at my friend "what church do you go to who do you pray to.." and continued to rant and rave. My friend said nothing to him... I told my friend we should leave immediately because this man might be crazy and have a gun. My friend refused to leave because my friend could tell that this man was simply a drunk piece of garbage. The man continued to scream and yell even as he was walking out of the store and into the parking lot... I was embarrassed for my friend.. But my friend was surprisingly not shaken or upset... Hes a better person than me. Im writing this review however because of the fact that no Staff in that supermarket.. Not the Manager, Not the Security, Not anybody did anything about this incident... No one came over to the man to try to diffuse the situation, Ask him to Lower his voice, OR Simply Escort him out of the store. NO ONE DID ANYTHING.. If this man had been crazy and hated white people as much as he seemed to protest AND Had a gun this story could have had a very different and deadlier ending. My friend and I Called the police.. I also followed this man out to his car because he was so busy yelling at my friend that he didnt notice me. I got his license plate number just in case. We went back into the store and confronted the Management and Security as to why they allowed this to happen and just stood by and did nothing.... They just apologized... Well guess what thats not good enough. Because godforbid if we all wound up shot or dead, apologies wouldnt mean anything... We asked the manager for the name of the owner of the Market... They refused to give to us... So we will be contacting the chamber of commerce and relaying this all to them so we may get the owners contact information. so we can contact them and let them know their staff's lack of important attention to what could have been a potentially dangerous situation. Ive been to this store many times myself alone and they give the impression they are a high end supermarket (and they charge high end prices) Yet.... they have low-life customers patronizing this place left and right. Be careful of this place... they did not do the right thing... NOT TO MENTION my friend goes into this supermarket on A DAILY BASIS... and give them his business . I told my friend not to go back ever again. And to the black man who pulled the race card and screamed white privilege at my friend (who is actually Puerto Rican). Where is the privilege for the 6 million white Jews that got gassed , shot and burned in ovens? This supermarket should be ashamed of themselves.. As well.. they dont have safety protocols in place for crazy people... Because as I said above if this man was drunk and had a gun it could have gone very wrong!

This is a great store, with a serious sanitary issue. There are a few cashiers that wear those blue gloves...all day. Same gloves. Filthy. Touching everything in sight, and then touching your food. I keep away from their lines, obviously. Today, I witnessed one cleaning her belt with chemicals, and then checking out a grocery order. I stopped to speak to a manager on my way out. "They change the gloves two times a day". Same confused misconception that gloves are to protect the cashier, no concept of sanitation. Scary....and dirty. There are risks.

This place is a hidden gem. It's like a Whole Food without the attitude. Beautifully laid out and clean. Helpful and friendly staff. The bonus: Italian speciality items available.

Cherry Valley is a great place to shop. Cashiers are friendly and managers are very helpful with any issue you may have. They have a large selection of every kind of food and sale prices are good. I am much happier shopping here than the larger stores, they maintain a family owned atmosphere. Lastly, during the pandemic when certain items were scarce, they had much more on the shelves than stop and shop.

This is a beautiful, fabulous market! The produce is gorgeous: fresh and many choices. The deli case goes on forever with fresh salads and dinner entrees to go. Salad bar and hot bar. Sushi and poke bowl area. Acai bowls and smoothies. All reasonably priced. It's all about fresh food, healthy, many choices at a reasonable price! So convenient! ATM here too.

This place is super clean, well organized and the staff is very friendly... They have a very great selection of whatever you would need, the only reason for four stars is that they are at least 20% to 30% more expensive than other local supermarkets. But at the end of the day, you get what you pay for..... Place is never busy and the quality is great, as I said great staff as well.

Not covid compliant. The store itself is nice looking inside, but it's simply unsafe. I have repeatedly whitnessed staff not wearing masks. Particularly the management. One manager rarely has a mask on or wears it below his chin. Another today was wearing nothing but a face shield and insisted he didn't have to wear a mask. A couple months ago there were several men repairing something near the food bars who were also completely maskless and within a foot of each other and breathing over the fully stocked and exposed food. These maskless men are putting all the workers and shoppers at risk. This place is a hazard to the community and the health department should do an inspection.

The food here is extremely inconsistent which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. I can't tell you how many times I have ordered a chicken sandwich and the chicken is completely inedible- It is either chewy or hard as a rock because it is overcooked. I don't know if they heat their food in a microwave or not (someone please let me know because microwaves are a huge no-no for me). It would make sense if they did use one, and would explain how the chicken becomes so tough. My once favorite sandwich is the Corona sandwich. Unfortunately I think they changed the recipe for the sauce because the last time I had it, it was way too sweet and had an overwhelming taste of cinnamon. This is a good place to go to for those late night munchies, as they're open pretty late. My recommendation though, don't get anything with chicken. Which is sad considering that's such a prominent protein on their menu but it's too risky. I hope they can fix whatever they're doing wrong with that chicken. Good luck!

Impressive and expanding refrigerated vegan section near the produce. Really happy to see a variety of violife cheeses, which I stop and shop doesnt carry. There are actually a few different spots that have designated vegan items, another being in the dairy/frozen aisle- Field Roast plant based nuggets, fruffalo wings-also items that I haven't seen at s&s. They also have Nocciolata hazlenut spread, Quinn's gluten free peanut butter filled pretzels, and chocolate filled pretzels, and Vegan Rob's puffs (several flavors). They're also the only local place I know of that carries the smooth operator pb by Peanut Butter & Co !! And Rao's homemade marinara sauce. Plus the store is beautiful, super clean, and the staff is really friendly.
