Hurt my back and it has been an overwhelming experience. The overwhelming experience has improved so much! This is because of the knowledgeable, kind, friendly, patient and professional staff. I am so glad I chose this location to receive my PT!

I write this review as a public service announcement. I have been to a couple of rehabilitation offices in the past and no one by any means has come anywhere near the quality service that I received at Island rehabilitation associates. When you enter their office you are greeted politely you wait less than 10 or 15 minutes on a regular basis to be escorted inside you receive great bedside manner, they give you great massage therapy, they have you do your exercises on whatever respective machine your to do on that day, and they even take the time to stretch you and put the electrode machines on with plenty of hot packs to make you comfortable. I have been to therapy offices that do either one or another service none has ever come close to this. No office has ever done all of these things in one visit at a time. No other office has taken the time to give me hours of rehabilitative therapy per session as opposed to 15 or 20 minutes like some of the others do when they treat you like you're a piece of meat that they're trying to get in and out of their office just to get payment on you as another "number" for this reason I highly recommend Island rehabilitation associates they are amazing ??

My first visit to this place for my Lowe back pain the treatment given was amazingly good and with upmost care. The place looks small and older but important is the therapies and treatment. My first experience is outstanding. I was going to another tharapist before but now I decided to go to this center only until I get same experience every time.

AVOID this place unless you have 3 hours to waste. Annelia is great. The owner Michael has neglected to submit crucial paperwork for an extension of my benefits after 3 phone calls and expressing the urgency to him. He agreed, but NEVER followed t He was treating me and I was seeing virtually no improvement and mostly left in pain. He's very calm and soft spoken, but impossible to get to do things that are needed. My insurance company has asked me 5 times, why he has not submitted paperwork requesting an extension, and despite my extensive efforts, he has NEGLECTED to do anything and my PT ended yesterday. I have seen much improvement with Liliana at another location, but he is restricting my progress with her. Sadly, I now have to be bothered with finding a NEW PT.I will NEVER deal with him again. He is in effective. A nice person, but ineffective. The offices are completely outdated as well.

I have always found the owner and all the associates to be the model of concern, empathy, and professionalism. During these challenging times I greatly appreciate the extra time they take to ensure all sanitary measures have been taken, especially since my mother also goes to Island Rehab. Mike Brown, the owner, always makes her feel comfortable and provides a level of service we would be hard pressed to find elsewhere. Thanks so much for all you do!!

In my experience, this place operates like a mill. When I waited an FULL HOUR beyond my appointment time before being seen, I was at about the end of my patience. I told the PT/owner I wasn’t happy about that. So, the next appointment, I decided to terminate treatment after half an hour sitting around. Granted, it’s the Covid-19 era, but when I told the therapist I was done, his explanation “but we have to clean the rooms” fell flat. If that causes delay, then space our your appointment times better. Or hire another employee to do it. The place also looks like it hasn’t seen a fresh coat of paint for a couple of decades.

Micheal and Kelly are very good at what they do. I have felt a lot better since I started going there for the last few weeks. They are so warm and caring.

Arrived there on a walker and needed a knee replacement. Was told to try Island Rehab as a last resort before surgery. After 3 months of working with the professionals there who were terrific and caring I walked out on my own and was able to go on a 50th Birthday Cruise with my children. I will forever be in their debt.

Very friendly and professional! Highly recommend this place. The staff is not only very caring, but makes you feel very comfortable. Michael, was very easy to talk too and understanding. Also, great machines to work out!
