HIDDEN GEM! My various workouts at FlyHigh Fitness are always fun and high energy. Most of all, I am seeing results!!! The owner, Geeta, is extremely knowledgeable and highly professional. Her goals are my goals -she goes above and beyond to help me reach my workout goals. FlyHighFitness is always clean with updated equipment. I am so happy that Geeta is offering gift certificates. Everyone I know is getting fun-fitness classes from me for Christmas this year. What an experience! I call FlyHighFitness my zen place. ?♀️Member Forever?♀️

I have been a customer at Fly High for over five years. The owner Geeta is highly professional and supportive. Through my time I have used FHF not just for myself but for girl scouts parties, birthday parties and kids lessons. Geeta finds a way to always make fitness fun and is a high confidence driver in her students (adults and child alike). She pushes everyone to keep reaching newer heights. Her facility is always clean and she is always bringing out new equipment for her students to use. If you want a fun way to work out, this is it.

The owner and I used to pole dance together a very long time ago. I was one of her first instructors. Prior to her opening her business, I moved away from Long Island. I just recently moved back and wanted to show my support for her business. Women supporting women! After signing up for class, I received a text message from her for a refund because "I wouldn't learn anything new." I told her that I had been out of practice for a few months and was just looking for some movement. No reply. I drove 35 minutes to take this class and she turned me away at the door. She claimed that there was a lot of drama between past instructors and students (from the studio I used to teach in). I haven't taught or lived on Long Island for over a decade. The owner was incredibly judgemental towards me, implying that I was present only to incite drama. I explained that I was only trying to show her my support. She knew nothing of my intentions and she flat out judged me. In my opinion, I believe she was intimidated because I have more experience and this field. I can only hope that those who enter these doors don't receive the same judgment that I received.

Geeta the instructor is amazing!!The gym is clean and open and the equipment is all new.Loved doing aerial pilates— the greatest way to stretch out your muscles and joints and do some serious exercise

Gita is a lovely instructor! she is so knowledgeable and experienced, and she communicates very clearly so that each of her students can understand the material. She is also very kind and easy to talk to, so nobody has a hard time asking her for help on the more challenging moves. I am so grateful to have found her studio, I recommend her to anybody looking to get into dance or fitness!

Our daughter loves Ms. Geeta! We had her 11th birthday party there and it was awesome. Ms. Geeta is so caring and enthusiastic about her teaching making it so much fun! We love her Wednesday class and how she gave an amazing party! We would recommend Fly High Fit to everyone! 10 out of 10 for sure!

I love going to Geeta’s classes. I HATE working out, but we have so much fun I forget I’m working out! An hour on the treadmill feels sooo long, but an hour in Geeta’s class goes fast because we are constantly engaged in what she’s showing us. I would recommend coming here to anyone and I take multiple different classes and feel the same way about each one!!!!!

I have tried pole dancing classes before and I can say that this is the best one so far! It has a very welcoming environment and very clean. Geeta is the best instructor! She breaks down every move and really pays attention to each student eventhough it's a group class. She will push you but not to the point of being intimidating. Its because she believes that you can do it! And that really gives you the motivation to try harder until you get it. This one is for keeps!!

A few weeks ago I took my first pole class taught by a friend in the city. When I got home that night, bruised and sore, I immediately turned to online to find if there were any places by me that teach classes. Fortunately, Fly High pulled up and I was merrily on my way and now I can say I have a home base. I'm always trying to find new ways to challenge myself and lately at the gym I was stuck in the rut of repetitive and boring workouts. That isn't the case here. Geeta teaches a solid class and is supportive the whole way through. It's hard work, but at the end of the class, you'll feel like you got in a fun workout. Geeta starts off the beginner class with an introduction, leading with a comprehensive warm-up and stretches, which are super important. She continues to describe your body in relation to the pole (the leg or arm closest to the pole is known as the inside, and the other side is the outside and that is how your limbs will be referred as, no left or right) When teaching moves, she goes over it a few times, then has you mirror it and follow along. Once you have it going on one side, you have to switch sides and work the other side of your body that way you can develop your muscle all around. It's very important and definitely a skill to be worked on. At the end of the class, you put together a cute little routine, stretch once again and clean the poles. The studio is clean. She locks the door while you're in the class so no intruders and nosy bodies get in.
