Today, I was to start a new job in city as RN. Quickly and nervously I called Beacon Mechanical....he last told me he could do 60,000 mile check up on my 2020 Subaru Legacy.
I called at 11am. Went in at 1pm was out by 2pm. CANT SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT THIS PLACE.

Took my car here because Interstate batteries customer service told me my battery was still under warranty and that an authorized service center would replace it free. So they gave me this shops location. When I took my car in my car battery died at their shop. He told me he only swaps battery's that he sold and doesn't care what interstate says. I was forced to use him for service as a tow would cost as much as the battery.He changed my battery out which took him some time to find because in my car it's under the passenger side seat. While pulling the battery out he ripped a vent hose nozzle that sends any fumes from the battery out of the car. He told me to contact him next time I bring my car in and he will take care of it. Decided to call today about that and another issue, and he was rude and hung up the phone. Don't know why people have such attitudes, and don't honor their promises.

I've been coming here for several years now. I was lucky to find them. They are honest and always very helpful. Always ready to explain when I have questions. I got a new car and as soon as my free services where done I was right back to them.

I thought I needed to have my brakes changed because I heard a slightly screeching sound. Although I recently had my car serviced and wasn’t notified of needing new brakes, the sound made me paranoid. I called Beacon and they told me to come in whenever I could. When I arrived, they helped me out right away. One of the mechanics took down my info and told me they would call me as soon as they assess the issue. An hour (maybe less) later they called me and reassured me my brakes were just fine. When I went to pick up my car, I spoke to a different mechanic there who told me they tested the brakes and my brakes were fine. They didn’t lie to me just to get my money. I don’t know much about cars and they could’ve easily taken advantage of that but they didn’t. They didn’t even charge me for taking a look at my vehicle. If I was a permanent resident of Rockland County, Beacon Mechanics would be my go-to place.
