Joe is a terrible manager. No work ethic. Constantly in his phone. Will not help you for the life of him and acts as if helping is a pain for him. Unprofessional. When it’s really your job. Please hire someone else and get this guy out for retirement. If it troubles you to help customers then customer service should not be your job

Went for a battery change with 2 different cars. Both times we were helped by Alex. He does an amazing job every time and is super knowledgeable. We can’t be more thankful for his work!

I went to get my car battery tested since I was having trouble turning it on on my way to work. Josh the employee said it was weak because on the testing machine that he used it stopped at 10 and not 12. The employee Josh said 10 meant that my battery was weak. I went back in the store and brought a new battery and they gave me a five dollar discount. In addition, to buying the battery I asked the employee what aisle I could get dark grey paint to touch up the color of my car. The employee Josh told me what aisle the paint was in. I asked if he could help me find it since it was my first time and I wasn't familiar with what I was looking for and he laughed in my face. I wanted to say something but I let it slide even though I found that disrespectful. We proceeded to go outside to put the new battery in my car and as he was putting in the battery he put the cover/lid to the battery on backwards and couldn't fit it back on. The manager whose name I do not know came out and had to correct him. The employee said "I couldn't figure out what was wrong and why it wasn't fitting correctly" but continued to say that he knew what he was doing. After the manager went back inside Josh the employee proceeded to screw down with a nut on the positive and negative terminal to make sure the battery was tightly on and in place. He then dropped the nut in my engine and I asked him to please find it because I didn't want that messing up my engine. He couldn't find where the nut had dropped. I then asked him to please either go and get a flashlight to help him see or to please get the manager to help because I was going to be running late to work. He went back inside and I waited there outside for 10-15 minutes with my mom. My mother then went inside to get him to see what was taking so long. When she went inside she said that the employee Josh was helping other customers instead. Yet we were also customers too at that time waiting to finished being helped. She told the manager what happened and asked for him to come outside instead since my mother and me were both getting frustrated at this point and the manager replied "I can't come and leave the store to come outside and help" because he was helping customer's in the store even though there was 2-3 other employees that could take over and we're also again customer's ourselves. As she was inside dealing with the manager asking him to please help us. I got on the concrete outside in front of my car myself and looked underneath the radiator and saw that that's where the employee had dropped the nut. Even though my hand and arm got scratched up I took it out and retrieved the nut with my hand within two minutes. I understand it was a mistake on the employee's (Josh) part but when I told the manager what happened and asked for a discount since I had to go through all of that and call into my job to take half day since it was taking longer than it should have due to the employee's (Josh) mistake. The manager was very rude to me and mother and said he would do anything to redeem us after what we went through. They never apologized for the mistake that was made. I lived in Rockland county all my life and worked in retail for 10 years. My family has been coming to that Autozone on 9w for years and we've NEVER had a problem with that store. The unprofessionalism and rudeness that was displayed and received in this situation was disrespectful and I will not be going back. Respectfully, the employees and manager need to be better trained in general on how to treat customers and handle situations like this better. Respectfully, it wouldn't let me post this review without rating it, however, I did not want to add any star ratings after dealing with the lack of disrespect and unprofessionalism.

No professionalism at all from the sales associates they’ll literally laugh at your face for a problem your car has.You guys have to get better training for further issues like this. This is my go to store but this time you guys went downhill

Took about half hour to pay for a bulb I picked out. Manager behind the counter was cursing serval times and was all wound up trying to help another employee. There was only 3 customers in the store and 3 employees behind the counter. Worst store ever , would never go there again. Corperate should take note and correct these issues.
