Absolutely atrocious pharmacy. If only I could give them 0 stars. I was recently hospitalized, which got me diagnosed with diabetes. I am brand new to insulin & diabetes medications as a whole. My doctor wrote in an Rx for a pill to be taken 2x/day, the pharmacy instructions said 1x/day. Subsequently, I was prescribed a long-acting insulin that is to be taken NIGHTLY. The instructions said to take it once WEEKLY. Thankfully I questioned this & called them. The pharmacist was rude on the phone & kept saying that he did not fill the Rx, but still refused to take any accountability for this major error. If I had fully trusted & followed his instructions, I would have ended up back in the hospital or even worse. They clearly are not competent & they're just plain rude. I'd switch pharmacies for your own sake.

Went to the pharmacy yesterday to pick up a couple of prescriptions, got the ones that were ready and when I asked the girl that always work the register about another one that was sent they said they never received it. After I got home and made a couple of calls to my doctors who confirmed the prescription was sent in the afternoon, I called the pharmacy back and the same girl said yes we have received but it needs prior authorization and that she wasn’t the one who helped me in person(but it was her the same voice and same blah nasty attitude) I don’t know why this pharmacy has been going downhill but someone needs to go behind the scenes on the way the cashier works in pharmacy and how the facts should match in person and on the phone with customers.

The back Pharmacy is terrible. The female Equra is nasty and unprofessional. No customer care whatsoever when it comes down to patient care . Go to CVS where they have a better understanding of customers concerns and needs .

This is possibly the worst pharmacy I have ever encountered. They usually don't have what you need in stock, and then they take an attitude with you if you complain. There appears to be a level of incompetency here and the head pharmacist has the personality of a piece of toast. Do yourself a favor and pass on this one!

The people working in the pharmacy are so rude. They don’t have any costumer ethics and talk to you in such a disrespectful way. It makes me so sad that I have to move my prescriptions to another town so I can feel safe and comfortable picking up something that I need for my health.

Management and employees are a bunch of idiots. This is an authorized Fed Ex delivery location. They are supposed to except packages 55 pounds and below. The Manager rejected my package which was 52 pounds so now it is being returned to the Manufacture which is in California. He clearly had packages much bigger than mine. Probably didn't like the last name on the package.

Waited all day for my prescription just to find out before closing that you can’t pay cash anymore. Because my doctor is closed the rest of the week I am forced now to pay over double the price since they will no longer accept discount cards. Never told me that the last time I picked it up. Strongly recommend not using this pharmacy

RUDE manager or whoever was working photo today. I picked up my 2 calendars I ordered online and they were both completely wrong. I just needed to switch 1 page to make 1 right so I can purchase at least 1. The manager fixed it but made sure to remind me it was MY fault. How are both calendars messed up then? It’s not the way it was sent so they obviously YOU messed up. Just came to say the customer service was horrible. Way to take responsibility and make your customer feel bad.

I actually will give this pharmacy 000 stars. They are the worst especially the manager Yooli A. She is very unprofessional and have no way in speaking to the public. They are unreliable, and very unhelpful. I call in to find out if they had a prisciption in stock for my dog so i will know if i can drop off my priscription(they were out in the past) and they refuse to give any info. They told me it’s substance related, what the heck am i gonna do, take my dog medication??? how the heck will i even get the medication without them taking my prisciption first? All i needed to know was if it’s in stock! Totally disgusted with this pharmacy and their unprofessional workers!!!!!

You will find no compassion at this pharmacy. Had just returned from Urgent Care with my elderly father - doctor was concerned with a serious infection, and called in the prescription and gave us specific instructions. We waited for it to be filled. As soon as we were notified the prescription was ready, we got in the car to pick it up. I arrived at the pharmacy counter, and though there were four pharmacists there- they said they had just closed (it was LITERALLY one minute past five) so they would not hand me the anti-biotics in the bag behind them. I pleaded that they just notified me it was ready and I came right there. They didn't care, they said we would need to have the doctor call the prescription into another pharmacy as it was after 5pm. I told them the situation and how the medication was urgently needed... they just said, "Sorry," like I was asking them to ring up a bag of chips an hour after closing time. I stormed out and immediately called the Urgent Care office, but was unable to get through. So now the family is stressing about our elderly father/grandfather's condition, and I may need to miss work tonight to bring him to the emergency room if things worsen because the staff at this Walgreens didn't have the humanity or decency to hand a bag of just-filled, potentially life-saving medicine across the counter to me because the clock ticked one minute past the stated store hours. I'm sure they will all sleep well while our family stays awake all night. Seriously, the sales clerks at gas station mini marts have more compassion and conscience. Just awful.

Pharmacy is heartless. Would not fill a prescription for 3rd time she asked me for new prescription gave the manager the new prescription still would not fill cash pay prescription. 2 days my dog had no medication passed away 3 days later. There goes the “ friendly neighborhood pharmacy” they knew me i was in there every other week with my elderly parents prescription they don't care! Thank you walgreens west babylon.
