My mother goes to Kathy and she is so kind. She is patient and listens to what my mom wants. Her hair always looks great! It's handicapped accessible which is a plus.

I've had three hair stylists as a young adult and now into my 50's. ALL have been great. All three had their talents and the salons differed greatly. I've been going to Kathie for over 12 years now, and unless she quits are leaves the area, I'm going to be with her for that many years and probably more. Kathie is on top of new styles/cuts/colors and listens to what you want. However, when I'm in the mood for a change, I put that decision in her hands because she knows my hair and she knows me. I'm a wash it, throw some product in it, and out the door kind of woman. I'm useless w/a curling iron/flat iron and can barely manage using a hair dryer. I've been coloring my hair for years (shhhh), and recently, I tolk Kathie that I was tired of fighting a losing battle and wanted to go gray. Well, she did step in on this offering her advice because she knew that my hair was at the stage that it wouldn't be a "pretty gray". So, she lightened it and we are now in harmonious agreement w/the gray. I've had more compliments than I can count and now that Kathie is back to full time (WooHOO!), her former clients are coming back in droves. Now, to be honest ~ Kathie's place isn't a "salon" in the sense of the "experience". Her three cats will want to check you out and perhaps sit on your lap, the radio is usually tuned to some good classic rock and because she has been working at another job full time (60+ hrs/wk AND doing hair two evenings a week and all day Sat.), she's not been able to keep up w/the appearance of the shop. However, she is diligently working on it and has chosen the most amazing shade of sage for the walls. She's doing repairs and such around and as money permits. But you know what? If you want a color that will last and a cut that folks will rave about, that all doesn't matter. It's the SKILL of the person standing behind you and that you are trusting with your appearance. And Kathie won't let you down. By the way, you are going to love Kathie as I do ~ her personality, her dedication to her craft, her sense of humor, her smile, and most of all, her laugh.
