Dr. Schnabel and now Dr. Hopp are the best docs in the world. They’re compassionate and even when busy take the time to answer any questions you have and calm any fears you have with gentle honesty. My dog was super sick a few years back and they got him back to me. I trust them with my babies and can’t sing their praises enough. Their entire team are the best people I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with. They care and work very very hard. They know my dog by name (if not personality!) and seem genuinely happy to see him/us. I trust them and you should as well.

I would give ZERO stars if I could..My cousin called this vet office for advice for her cat & they told her that the cat needs to be put down and surgery would cost thousands to save her. We went to the appointment anyway to ask them if they could examine her instead of assuming she needs to be put down and they told us no and if we want to get her put down that’s the only thing they could do so we left there because I DON’T think it’s right to put down a pet without a examination done so went to emergency vet in Ithaca Hospital and they told us she has a severe bladder infection and gave us meds and cleaned her up and she is doing so much better not even a day later. ALWAYS ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION!! her recovery costed $600 not over thousands!! I wouldn’t even take a hamster here.

Been going there for about 15y with my pups. The doctors know their stuff. They care more about the animal then the money. This is why I drive almost an hour since i have moved passing a vets office 5 mins from home.

The staff is absolutely amazing! We had a pup that was very ill and very hard to diagnose, but they did it and had him set up for all his needs. We got a second pup who as became family to them, Victor! He loves all the love he gets everytime he goes. Top notch care for my pups! Thank you Dr. Hopp and staff!
