Ordered a gas stove back in September. After 4 weeks I had to stop in for a status update and was told they had arrived a week ago, but no one ever called to setup delivery.
I purchased a new flexible gas line as well. They never asked what size I wanted and just delivered one that was the wrong size. I called the store and was told I could just bring it in for an exchange. This is a lie, they don't stock the gas lines. How do you sell appliances and not stock basic accessories?
I was then told the delivery crew should have asked what size fittings I needed to make the flex line work, which they didn't. Then the sales-person brings out a box of used, corroded fittings and spends 15 minutes digging through this box only to declare they don't have the fittings I need. We had to return the line and go somewhere else to buy the correct size.
We've purchased half a dozen appliances from Orville's over the last 15 years and expected a positive experience but this time it has been less than great.

Delivery is not great. Orvilles does not state that if they can't get your refrigerator out ,they will charge you 50$ more to come back. Paid 99$ for delivery so the delivery guys left the new fridge in the garage. My husband and I got the old fridge out of its opening in 15 minutes now they want 50$ more to come back and haul the old one away and put the new one in. Really there is nothing that states that or I would of taken the old fridge out before they came. Delivery is a joke

They take advantage of you. Do not shop here unless you have someone to protect you. They will try and take advantage of you with additional fees.

Not the first time I purchased here.
I went with a specific dishwasher in mind. Salesperson knew exactly the model and pointed me to the device. However, I wanted a (uncommon) lower version of that model. No problem, that one is there. What is the difference to the lower model number? Immediate answer without looking anything up. I opened the door, and, yes, that was the difference.
Total ice spent: 5 minutes plus paying. Zero annoyance from a salesperson that wants to pitch a more profitable model.
Will buy there again.

The salesman was very nice and helpful. We were able to get what we wanted quickly with no hassle and no trying to be talked into ridiculous deals. This review is pending the delivery and installation (in only 2 days! (A lot shorter than expected!)), but I have my fingers crossed that it goes just as well.

The store employees were fantastic. The delivery team tore apart my house it cost over$1,000 to fix. I settled for $500 for the interior work. And I've had nothing but a runaround with receiving my money. First they told me to email it to corporate 4 weeks ago. I received an email today that I had to mail it. I called after waiting on hold for 12 minutes. I talked to somebody that said they were the manager of the delivery department, but but to find out she is the receptionist. Very argumentative very combative would not let me get a word in edgewise. Ask to speak to the manager at 1:30. I was told the manager left for the day. That they would not be able to get back to me till Monday. I will never do business with this corporation again. I will be shopping at Charlotte appliance for all my future needs.

Horrible place with a lot of promises and tiny delivery. Service does not return calls. You need to go around and call different department in order to get any response. Also they huck you on warranty with 50% back. Off course you will newer see that money. They have full me once but newer again.

Purchased washer dryer expecting to see the washer in a week 4 weeks later they finally tell me my washer is in. But had I known In the beginning that it would've taken so long I wouldve selected another brand. And anytime I tried to get an update on my order it was pulling teeth do to their customer service not relaying the information to who they transfered me to. Just a terrible representation of customer service.

After our washer died, we were worried about how long it would take to get a new one. Deb, our salesperson, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She ensured we had the best price, and we had the new washer installed (and the old one hauled away) in LESS THAN 24 hours. Deb was the best! The delivery guys were quick, clean, and professional. We will absolutely come back to Orvilles when we need a new appliance down the road.

The sales reps at the store are great and the professional delivery people are great. But when you buy non-professional grade appliances, the delivery is sub standard.
Item was damaged in delivery and they offer a credit but can't fix anything. They also won't tell me what they banged into to cause the damage so not sure if I am going to find damage to walls somewhere.
When I gave a poor review they called and told me I should have refused delivery. They told me the leaving of all the trash is standard and it was not protocol for the people last time to have taken all their trash with them. But they did and now I have all sorts of trash to break down and take care of, a damaged "new" appliance, and the recommendation to refuse delivery next time if I don't want damaged items in the future.
All in all - very disappointing delivery service and horrible customer service afterward. I will be returning to Charlotte Appliances for my needs in the future.

Will not buy from Orville's again. Bought a $1,000 washer late 2021 with an extended warranty. This washer should have lasted at least 5 years. In 2023, started to experience issues with the interface. Called Orville's and they told us to put in a service claim with New Leaf, who the extended warranty was with. This was January 2024. New Leaf farmed it out to Sears Home Services. After 5 MONTHS, multiple circuit boards, calls to New Leaf and Sears, and 3 visits from Sears Home Service technicians, each with a slightly different diagnoses, finally was told the washer was not repairable and New Leaf would need to replace it. New Leaf suggested a replacement washer which we agreed to and said Orville's would be in contact. Orville's then proceeded to unsympathetically tell us that we would have to pay a $149 delivery fee, plus tax. The LEAST they could have done was waive the delivery fee since they're the ones that sold us the bad washer and terrible extended warranty in the FIRST PLACE!!! Oh, and when they delivered the replacement washer, they left the empty cardboard box in the driveway for us to take care of.

Unfortunately we already purchased our appliances but the customer service is horrible. I have an appliance that is less than a month purchased and the door isn'tstaying shut unless you push hard on it. I called to the store as I was directed to by our sales representative and the woman who answered was probably one of the rudest employees I've encountered. I explained the problem and her response was "I don't know why he told you to call here." I then said, oh where should I call? She said our service department. I was confused as to why she wouldn't direct me to them from the beginning instead of the first remark she said. Then when i asked her for her name she wouldn't give it to me and actually hung up on me when I asked her twice for her name. I wouldn't recommend going there.

The person who helped was very knowledgeable and made buying a new appliance easier.
