I to have had nothing but issues here. They misrepresented an interest rate and even though I made them very aware I was a disabled veteran they still say it up to you to verify the printed paperwork. They have lied about being unable to trace who opened this account for me and yet I still can’t get it closed because the cleared it, but the next day put a dime into it as interest, then promptly charged me an $8 service fee. It’s nuts. I need to have my wife a nurse or my daughter a pharmacist, take a half day off to drive me in to close an account I have paperwork saying it was closed. This isn’t new. We’ve been nickel and dimed or had far more inconvenience over the 18 years at BofA than any other bank I’ve used living on both coasts. ESL has been great as we always have 2 banks no matter where we have lived. Just a disappointment. It’s like you literally a number that they just want to siphon off of with no service included.

The Teller was good, but it only has 1 window for retail service. How one of the biggest banks in the US, has only 1 window to service retail clients, is beyond me. This is not the fault of any of the employees, however it is definitely a BofA issue the bank needs to fix. What is the fault of the branch employees is their customer service. From the woman (I forgot her name) who tried to help me do a simple online profile request, who wasted my time being unable to complete it, to the manager (Elizabeth) who seemed utterly uninterested in helping me in any way for another separate request I asked her about. There was simply no initiative by her to even say "I will look into it, and give you a call on the next business day", or "This is the phone number of the department you need to speak to", etc, etc.... Absolutely no pride in helping, or taking pride in her job role, or being a leader. Just waiting to get her paycheck is the best way I can describe her service.BofA needs to take more pride in this branch, and executives need to take a look at how this branch is failing it's customers, not only from having only 1 window for Retail service, but also the Manager and the other woman who spent 1/2 hour with me in her office, only to get absolutely nowhere for a simple online request.

If I could rate this bank zero stars, I would. the customer service is non-existent. Whenever you bring up concerns about e-checks they do not try to assist and just tell you you should have gotten "Zelle." A 2 person line could easily take 30 minuets. The only reason I am using them is because I have to for my auto loan. If you have the choice, do not keep your money here. This is a dirty business, where no one knows their ass from their elbow, do not trust these imbeciles.

If I could give zero stars, I would. First and foremost they are thieves, Period ! I payed off my mortgage early, the following day the charged my checking account $25.00 because I no longer had a mortgage. I attempted to explain that I was just waiting for my escrow balance to be refunded to my account, to then close out my account. After 2 customer service representative refused a refund, I went to the local branch. They were even more clueless. I sat there for 15 min waiting for a teller after the bank manager refused to talk to me for 1 min because he had an appointment coming in , in 10 min. No appointment ever showed. The entire 15 min I was there. This bank is completely incompetent, and incapable of customer service!

The bank manger there is one of the worst customer service mangers I have ever dealt with. She handled my situation extremely poorly, now I know why it has a 2.8 Customer service Rating. I would not go into the bank to get change for a Dollar let alone do anything else. I don’t know how Elizabeth piwonski is a manger, she should not be a manger of McDonald’s let alone a bank.

What a lame bank. Glad I am not a customer. I went to Webster location with a personal check that one of their customers wrote to me for a bike they bought from me. When I gave them check along with my valid NYS drivers license they told me they would not cash the check they only would cash it if it was written out to the customer? WTH. Really!!!! What a waste of time, I had to go back with the guy who wrote the check inorder to cash it? Terrible waste of time for both of us. I am sure glad I bank at CNB. Local banks just treat you better....
