Jefferson Village(JV) goes thru good and bad times and is as different as any diverse community can be. Being a tenant at JV is good and bad as well. If you tend to get to involved with the Community at JV there is always someone to complain and ruin good times for you and everyone. If you enjoy being active in the JV Community make your voice heard and don't let management or other tenants take away your joy, find a different way to continue to enjoy living at JV. JV is an independent living community so make sure you are aware of what that entails. The tenants are reminded that your rent pays for everything behind you apartment door and the rest of the building is management territory even though management nor maintenance live on premises. I still live at JV and will continue to stay there as long as my opinion doesn't get me in trouble.

I've lived in Jefferson Village for only seven months, but I'm very happy here. The apartments are roomy and well kept. All the neighbors I've met are friendly and helpful. They watch out for each other like family. Management plans activities weekly and all are welcome to participate. The facility is conveniently located within walking distance of shopping, banking and Seneca Lake.

I feel very fortunate to be living at Jefferson Village. It is a safe and pleasant place to live. In our Community Room we enjoy making crafts, playing Bingo, watch TV or enjoy a delicious dinner. Beautiful Jefferson Village is well supervised and maintained,

This is not a good place to live, the management is terrible, she doesn't know anything about managing an apartment, she treats the place like a nursing home and you feel like your in prison..

I have lived here 3 and 1/2 years. It's a nice apartment complex. The staff is helpful, the apartments are quite roomy, and it's a nice size complex. It's small enough to be cozy and you know your neighbors.....but it is big enough to have a variety of people to interact with. The residents are very welcoming to newcomers. I love the large windows and it is nice being a block away from Seneca Lake. Things are not always perfect, but then...where are they? I am glad I am here....and so is my kitty.
