I will always take my car to Smalley's and I can never recommend them enough! As a female, I dread the idea of taking my car to a mechanic (to the point I will You Tube the issue to learn to fix it myself) but NEVER with Smalley's. I'm always 1000% confident in the work done, that I am not being taken advantage of because I'm a "girl who doesn't know anything about cars". They treat me like family and with respect. I walk away with peace of mind that Smalley's has my safety in mind as well has my finances. Great prices with outstanding service!

I’m so thankful for them! I was visiting over the weekend with my kids from MI when my car began making a strange noise. Carl was able to diagnose the issue quickly. The peace of mind is priceless. We made it back to Michigan without issue. Thank you!

What can I say other than amazing customer service. We are new to the area and so finding a reliable mechanic to maintain an older car is always a concern. From the moment we walked into this place we were greeted and felt comfortable. They are incredibly helpful and super accommodating. I have a 2005 and every year passing inspection in a crapshoot for me. They not only worked with me to diagnosis any issues ahead of inspection but tested for me several times to ensure I didn't waste money getting an inspection that would likely fail. They are very fair on pricing and I will most certainly be returning to them (hopefully not anytime soon). Finally passed inspection, had some nice conversations with the owner and they fixed my incredibly difficult low beam ? Thank you for the great experience!

Kind ,courteous, and polite. An oil change with an inspection fifty bucks. That was done within a 45-minute time-frame let's see you beat that Walmart oh wait you can't!!!For an old shop with a lot of history it was neat to sit there and read all the articles and see all the trophies in the pictures. Not to mention it was neat and tidy.

A couple of years ago, they were able to build a part that I needed to fix my car.Recently, I had to drive to another state, and I thought something might be wrong with my steering. I stopped in at Smalley's without an appointment. They were very busy, but they took my car in and looked at it (for safety reasons, I assume). They found a small leak in my power steering and fixed it in a couple of minutes. These people are great mechanics and kind people!

Carl is the nicest and most honest mechanic I've ever met. He could've added so many more charges like other mechanics have in the past and he did a bunch of extra stuff for free. He goes out of his way to please his customers. I really wish more people were like him. Also, Carla was so sweet and kind to me and so very helpful and got me in the same day. Trevor is also very nice and professional. I'm forever grateful for them and will always bring my vehicle here.

We travelled from Ottawa Ontario to camp in Watkins Glen for 5 days. After stopping for groceries our truck broke down. Carl from Smalley’s came out of his way to check on us and got us back on the road. Carl is a man who “cares”.Highly recommend!!We need more men like Carl.
