We wanted to hit one winery while in wine country and picked this one randomly. SUPER GLAD we did! Wonderful service while tasting, very kind, friendly & knowledgeable! Wines were some of my favorites from the Finger Lakes area. Our favorites? Too many to choose, but we took home the Baco Noir, Chancellor & Winter's Dream. Winery is spacious with a fireplace, deck, and beautiful view, as it sits up higher than most other wineries on the west side of Lake Seneca, it's only a mile or so off of main drag, also offers disc golf on large grounds and looking forward to an amazing light show of lit lanterns coming soon! It's definitely worthy of adding to your Winery stops!

This place is great.. love the dinosaur displays and all the decorations. Not sure why people were bashing it as you can see it on their website...just like anything else in life if it's not for you move on. After all it's wine country and you'll find something to suit your needs. The wine was very good. Something for everyone's tastes. The woman doing our wine tasting was very knowledgeable and guided us through. She apologized when she was taking care of other customers which we understood as she was the only one there early afternoon on a Tuesday. Fun place with a beautiful view.

Wonderful staff for wine tastings, very friendly. Beautiful views. Toured grounds with family and had a ball. Can't wait for the displays to be lit up.

This place is spectacular. We were celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary over this weekend. We both enjoyed everything. The views, atmosphere and the wine was amazing. We got to meet the owner at the end. The staff really know how to give you a great wine tasting experience like no other. We will definitely come back and recommend everyone to come here.

The atmosphere at Castel Grisch is unmatched - when you pull in you will know what I mean. There are amazing art pieces decorating the property to rival a music festival. It's amazing to see - you could spend the day walking through all they have to offer in visuals. The back deck was so relaxing to enjoy our tasting with our dog. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Wines weren't my favorite on the lake- but we found a few we liked enough to buy the bottles and there's enough good ones where we will likely find our way back. If you're near Watkins Glen, i would say this is a must stop.

Castel Grisch definitely wins an award for being the most unique winery we have been too. When you pull in really jumps out at you with some really unique sights. If you are stopping with kids / grandkids, they would find this place pretty cool. Even for adults it's almost a must see as it is so different. There are even "holes" for disc golf. I can't imagine this place lite up at night. The staff were friendly and the wines were good. We did take a couple bottle home after spending some time relaxing on the patio.

OMG! We had an amazing time playing the Lost World! Almost lost my disc in the enormous footprint! Super fun front nine with a long and mostly shady back. Stopped in after nine for a refreshing jalapeño margarita wine spritzer, which was amazing! Ended our golf with a mixed wine tasting where we purchased a few bottles to take back to Michigan. Fantastic and friendly, and our pups loved the special treatment! Cheers until we return!

This place is AWESOME!!! I highly recommend making a stop here, even if you don't drink wine. They have a disc golf course and so much to look at and wander around. The view from the balcony of the bar is beautiful. Our experience was so much fun and if we ever venture to this area again, we will likely return. We did wine tastings and they were $10 a person for 5 different wines. I suggest making a reservation because they seem to be a popular place. Their indoor facility and balcony were clean and spacious. Overall a great time with our 10 person group of friends.

Fun and unique stop! Great variety of wines, very cool features on the drive in, and a covered porch that is perfect to enjoy some wine while it rains.

Great winery with super nice staff, beautiful and well kept property. You can take a stroll around the property and take in the beautiful views. They didn't have food but they had a good selection of cheeses. I didn't enjoy their wines however.

Always a wonderful stop to relax and enjoy a glass of wine and beautiful views of Seneca Lake! One of my favorite places in the Finger Lakes!

Came for the disc golf course and stayed for the view! Castel Grisch was an early stop on our finger lakes trip, and we decided to play the front nine to tire out our pup before trying the wine. The disc golf course is fairly reasonable with both wooded and field baskets, with fun statues along the way. It could be better marked but the map online helps. The winery requests $5 a person via QR code or at the winery. The winery has a wonderful view of the lake that pictures won't do justice. They have a tasting room, indoor seating, an outdoor deck, and some grounds you could walk. All of these options were dog friendly! We both tried a flight and then had a glass of our favorite. The wine was good, not great. They also had some pre packaged cheese and small snack options for purchase but we didn't partake. The woman helping us was splendid! We would definitely return for ambiance, but did find better wines elsewhere.
