We have been using Ashline for all our moves... My parents starting using Ashine in 1981... Since then we have had 5 moves (1 from out of state) and Ashline was there for each and every move!

I booked a moving date with Ashline. I gave them an inventory of items to be moved including boxed items and furniture. I lived in a small 2 bedroom apartment and I only had a few furniture items (sofa, chair, end tables, coffee table, bed, end table, dresser and desk). I was moving from about 3-4 miles down the road to my new apartment, also a 2 bedroom apartment. They quoted me about $750.On moving day, the truck arrived over an hour late at 10 am. I was told there would be 4 movers, only 3 showed up and 1 left early at around noon. Obviously when down to just 2 men, it was going to take longer. They showed me the bill (as they wouldn't budge until I paid) only to find out that that the charge was $975. $275 for gas and time to get to my apartment. (the business was only 3 miles away! I wish I could make $275 for 15 minute ride!They took longer as 2 men cannot do the work the same as 4 men. At 5 pm they finally finished. They quoted me an extra $568 for additional charges. I told them that it was not my fault that we were down 2 men and that this move should have only took about 4 hours. Well... they charged my credit card for the additional $568 without my approval! They hand wrote in the additional charge without my authorization. Needless to say I had a hard time challenging this charge.My apartment manager was looking for recommendations for future residents and I informed them that in no way would I ever recommend this company to anyone! Beware!

A Wonderful experience from the first call through placing the final items. It’s hard to find a service that cares as much as Ashline Movers, they did a first class job all the way protecting the floors and padding the furniture. You could tell they were experienced movers right away and they worked the entire time with a cheerful attitude. In the end we were completely satisfied with the workmanship and the price. They provided the quote and all the legalities upfront prior to scheduling which was helpful and they are small so scheduling is easier than most others. We rented the truck and Scooter and Bobby worked hard and made us comfortable during a stressful time. We really appreciate all they did especially setting up in the new house. Thanks again

I used Ashline Moving to move from Troy to Watervliet. My apartment that I moved out of was difficult as a lot of weird stairs and hills were involved. The crew did great! They were proficient, professional, and took care of all of my stuff.I would use again and could not recommend them more!

Your team packed our 4 bedroom home into 2 pods with perfection. I can’t say enough about how nice they all are and everything arrived in tact without any issue or damage. They are impressive movers and fit us in around a fast closing. They have all the padding and equipment you need to make a full move efficient, we rented the truck and they did a fantastic job with the move also the customer support from the back office was spot on. Professional, efficient and personable to work with for anyone needing a quality move.

We hired Ashline to pack and move our elderly parents in Troy NY, we had an awesome experience from start to finish. Totally organized and knowledgable with all aspects of moving seniors and we are very happy we contacted them. We rented the truck they are very knowledgeable with logistics, insurance and highly efficient, Id definitely use them again!!

I CANNOT stress enough what a fantastic company this was!From the owner and office staff to the packers and moving tream. Picing was very reasonable.The crew that packed my furniture and boxes get an A++. The wrap job on the furniture was amazing.. Polite,flexible,helpful,honest,on time,quick and professional. The crew manager Al was phenomenal and the crew worked like a well oiled machine. They were thoughtful and caring. Made me feel calm about the whole process. Before you use a big box mover like ATLAS or United please give this family owned business a try you will not be disappointed. They have been in the moving business for decades and it is understandable why. THANK YOU ALL.????!

I have used this moving company for a long time. Living locally they helped me move three times in the past. 1980’s.
Today , they helped with moving a family member and I am extremely pleased with the whole transaction.
The owner is reliable and responds in a quick manner, either by direct phone call or text.
They are trustworthy, reliable and reasonably priced.
All belongings were handled carefully and nothing was damaged when they moved , even the most precious antiques !!!!!
