I've been going to South Street for many many years. Jon & Autumn are two of the most honest and fair people I've ever encountered in the auto repair service in my life. When I say I've had things from a plugged tire, tail light bulb change, brakes, oil change, new tires to MAJOR Body work, and many other repairs over the many years. All this time I NEVER felt uneasy about any of the work they've done.
It's a place that gives you old fashion service at a fair and honest price. THEY will not do unnecessary repairs!! So take yourself to South Street next time you need any auto repairs, trust me you'll be glad you did.

I’ve been coming to South Street for almost a decade now for all my automotive needs. Whether it’s been routine maintenance, mechanical issues, and now recently bodywork they have been the best. Professional service, timely repairs, and fair prices. They’ve always explained exactly what needs to be done and why. Often as well letting you know that you don’t need something repaired. Autumn and Jon have always been a pleasure to work with and go out of their way to make sure you are completely satisfied before you leave. I tell everyone that mentions they are looking for an automotive shop to go to South Street.

When we moved back to the Hudson Valley, we couldn't believe a great auto repair shop was right around the corner from us. Don't let their name fool you – they do waaaay more than auto body work. Highest recommendation.

I've gotten work done here a few times now, every time it's been super easy and straight forward. Ive never had to wait a long time, and the bill felt reasonable, without some random unnecessary up charge. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

I've been using South Street Collision for almost 2 years and I'm very satisfied.
Their service is top-notch, the staff is friendly, and the pricing is fair.
They've proven time and again that they look out for their customers. The mechanics explain everything in a way that's easy to understand and never try to upsell unnecessary services—highly recommended!

This place is a nightmare. My truck was in an accident, so I brought it here for repairs. They told me to pick it up after a week. When I arrived, only HALF of the truck was fixed. Weeks later, I was told it was done and came to pick up the truck, but the front tire was flat due to a nail. I had to wait for them to patch it. While my truck was there, they ripped my dash cam off the windshield, breaking the clip. They charged the insurance company for multiple parts on the truck that were not part of the accident and were not damaged due to any accident. Well, that is not the worst of it. My truck is now in another shop where it may be totaled. Yes, totaled because of this shop's 'repairs'. How do you bring a truck in to be fixed for $11,000 and the 'repairs' are so egregious, unsafe, missing parts, improperly installed, painting over dirt, overspray, 'fixed' parts still broken. Costs are going to be over $30,000. Three different times I have requested to talk to the owner, John, who is never there. I gave numerous opportunities for him to just reach out and make this right. However, he hides behind his secretary/girlfriend, Autumn, who is confrontational, rude, and nasty. She tries to turn your concerns around and blame you. I believe the term is 'gaslighting'. The communication at this business with its absentee owner, girlfriend/secretary, and employees who do whatever they want led to this outrageous destruction of my vehicle. I can honestly say that this place deserves everything that is going to come legally from the insurance company. You did this to yourself.

Absolutely wonderful.We dropped off our car on Friday for front brakes. Unfortunately the passenger caliper was bad. NO one local had the part. They could have just ordered it and waited 4 days. They went out of their way to get the part and finish the repair so the car was available for the weekend.Service: Brakes
