When there is a Long line and the cashier decides to close her lane to talk to her friends and only leaves the self checkout for card only ..dollar general doesn't take into account a customer's time which is valuable. Rather pay a few more cents at another place then waisted time for someone to socialize.Aug 6 2024 3:45 pm

I've worked there for almost nine months. The customers were nice but one coworker always had a frown and snippy when asking something or just asking a question. Also have to do totes between 4-6 a hour and have the customers wait if they were paying in cash.

Shelves were pretty empty, several items I was looking for were not in stock, looked for an associate to help me with a question I had and ended up walking back and forth through store searching and searching for several minutes before finding an associate and there was nobody up front at register either so was abit frustrated with this.

The Employment Staff was Very Courteous & Polite & Professional The Dollar General Store Stocked most of the Products I was in need of Except the Bite Size Candy Bar Packages with 5 Bite Size Candy Bars in each Package that sells for $1.00 was a Very Limited Selection. Plus I was Short (7) Seven Cents for my Cash Purchase Items at the Register, & when I asked the Cashier if they had a Penny Jar for Customers use that Only need a few pennies to cover the (7) Cents I was short, She answered me in a kind of Rude way: "NO"!!! Like She thought of how Inconsiderate & Miserly of Me to ask for a simple Hand-Out of a few Cents to cover my Purchase!!!
