This place is a revolving door. They are always raising the rent which makes people move constantly. Absolutely nothing is included, you pay for everything, garbage, water, heat gas, oil, electricity…..everything, might as well own your own home. Trying to phone the office is impossible, they never answer, emailing forget getting a response. So unprofessional. Neighbors have dogs off leash, we have pictures. Children outside unattended throwing balls and leaving bikes laying around. The fitness center has been updated, yet maintenance does not go in to clean the floors or the equipment. The so called landscapers make more of a mess then their worth. This place is a joke and management is a bigger joke.

These apartments are fantastic if you like the sound of construction every day.

After making an appointment to see an apartment here with Salvatore Cucullo, I took the metro north at 8am and rode up there for the viewing. Mr. Cucullo emailed cancelling the appointment after I was already at the station nearest the apartments (More then a 2hr commute from where I live). I called the office and spoke to "Matt" who said that Mr. Cucullo wasn't in at all today. When I asked "Why would he make an appointment on a day he had off?" Matt had no answer. When I explained that the ad that I replied to, Matt said "Well the problem is that we don't have either of those available to view. If you come to the office I can show you a video of the apt or we can schedule another day." I replied "Why would I schedule another day, waste money and time on another commute when your staff couldn't keep the original appointment? I'm coming by the office today, thank you." Livid, I headed to the property. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Matt. There were two other women there, one of them was dismissive and couldn't be bothered to deal with a potential resident (which is a massive red flag). I let Matt give me the "tour" which was literally a youtube video of one of the units. If there are videos, they should have been on the ad to begin with but I digress. I took the paperwork, said my farewells and walked out of the office. At this point the ad's have changed price DAILY, a matter that I brought up but Matt had no answer about the inconsistency, and while I was told "We have a unit ready to move into right now" when I asked to see a unit he said "Well someone is still in the unit so you can't exactly see it" Another huge red flag. I do not trust them and I would advise everyone to avoid these apartments at all costs. I will also be contacting any website/app that advertises their apartments and have them flagged as fraudulent in their advertising methods. They don't care about a potential new resident which concerns me, but it seems from other reviews that they don't cater to their current residents much either.

We recently moved out because our family is expanding yet again and we had outgrown our apartment. I’m not one to leave reviews like this, but the way that they are doing us so dirty is inexcusable. So here goes: these are cheaply made “luxury” apartments. Trying to contact the office is nearly impossible. Winston never did our move in inspection so I had to put a ticket in with a bunch of issues on it. While Ty was amazing with helping us get most of the issues fixed, some we were told they would come back to do and it never happened. We moved into an apartment with old carpet and now they are trying to charge us $2200 to replace. Absolutely not happening. We also had a leak during a very bad rainstorm and the maintenance people tracked mud into our apartment. We were told for a few weeks that someone would be coming to clean the carpets and that never happened. Very disappointed. Other than that, we enjoyed living here, we had great neighbors. But the office itself is horrible, Eagle Rock is just out to get your money.

YOU KEEP RAISING MY RENT EVERY SINGLE YEAR. IF I RENEW THIS WILL BE THE FIFTH RENT RAISE IN FIVE YEARS. You even raised my rent during Covid while everyone was staying home and not paying. The part of the community I live in for some reason has been turned into an after school playground with all these kids running around with NO SUPERVISION. It’s a parking lot not a playground. Most of the kids don’t even live here. Garbage is left everywhere. I PAY extra for a covered parking spot but never seem to be able to use it due to the fact there’s always SOMEONES ELSES child’s bike or scooter or something else in MY PAID parking space. Management has been asked multiple times to speak to the parents but my complaints just fall on deaf ears. The main amenity in this community is the pool which you can rarely find open due to there being no lifeguard or some other maintenance issue with the pool. The apartments are nice. I rent a 1 BD Loft, but my main concern is the 20 foot high ceiling fan that’s covered in dust and grime that I’ve been asking maintenance to clean for two years now. I’ve even asked to borrow a ladder to do it myself and was just ignored.

Experience is ok. I’m concerned in high raise in rent at renewal. Do you guys want us to remain here?

Lease increase over 10%. I've been here for 2 years and in that span of time my rent increased over $400. It doesn't seem that Vista wants to retain renters. It feelsnlike you'd rather have a revolving door of renters so you can keep hiking up the price. I will say your maintenence staff was wonderful!

The customer service here has been absolutely terrible. When you need anything at all from them crickets but should they need anything from you it’s persistent phone calls and e-mails. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone as maintenance takes months as well.

My Family and I moved here since 2011 and it's one of the coolest neighborhoods in Wappingers Falls to raise Children. We raised our Three Children here through High School and then went on to college and are now working. The management, is a team of friendly professionals and the neighbors are just the kind of people you want your children to be around. Over all, this complex is just one of kind and my Family and I love it here.

The management is terrible to work with. They don’t answer, don’t respond in a timely manner. I have to constantly follow up, otherwise no one would ever respond to an email or call me back. Management passes the buck to someone in corporate and corporate does the same thing back to management. Lack of communication is a huge problem here. The only great people were maintenance, very kind and friendly. If I had the choice to rent again, I would never pick Vista Point Apts or recommend them.

Calling this apartment complex "luxury" is a bit of a stretch. Walls are seriously paper thin - So thin that I can hear my neighbors even when they're speaking at a normal volume. We have dogs living above us and when they start running its like living with a stampede of horses above us. They also make you pay for trash which I think is odd, and only have one dumpster for the entire complex so we drive our trash and recycling there...very inconvenient. Our appliances are very cheap and also noisy, again far from luxury. Management I've encountered is not great either, except for Winston who is helpful and very kind. Not sure why real estate management companies think they can slap "luxury" on anything when its not.I give this apartment 3 starts because its just ok, but if noise bothers you definitely look elsewhere.

About two weeks ago, my mother was staying with me for two nights to help me out because I had a minor medical procedure done. She went to throw some recyclables out and accidentally tossed her keys into the dumpster also. Matthais, a maintenance team member who I had never even met before, was kind enough to climb into the dumpster (twice!) and finally retrieve her keys for her. Thankfully the recyclables had just been collected so it was pretty empty! I greatly appreciate his help, as there was nothing I could do. We'll always remember how kind he was. Thank you!

Made an appointment with Lori in late June for Friday, 07/08/22 stating that my husband and I had sold our home and needed a FURNISHED apartment on a month-to-month basis. We emailed/texted a few times during which I reiterated that we needed a furnished apartment. Upon arrival for our meeting, I was informed that the apartment she'd mentioned to me had since been rented. Why didn't she contact me prior to our apartment time rather than wasting our time? OK, so then I asked if she had anything else, but ONLY furnished. She then informed me that they don't have furnished apartments, you must rent furniture from a preferred company which works with them. Again, OK we could work that out. We were about to leave when Lori informed us that she though there were a few apartments available in their sister complex, Eagle Rock, in Fishkill NY. We met here there and were told that there were 2 available, 1 one-bedroom for August. Said we needed to pay the fee and fill out an application, and she would contact the residents of that apartment in order to get the exact date of move-out. Were told she'd contact us early the following week. Again, we reiterated that we must be out of our home by August 25th, but even if the renters weren't moving out until the end of that month, we'd take the apartment. Lori informed us that we'd be first on the list because we'd been working with her. Went home, filled out the application and paid the fee. Never heard from her again!! I placed several phone calls to all the numbers I found on your website, and also the number at which I'd contacted her. Left messages each time frantically asking what was happening with that apartment because my husband and I needed to know if we had a place to live after closing on our home. I finally reached Winston who told me she was at lunch. I asked why she wasn't responding to my calls. Winston found no notes stating that my husband and I were to get any apartment. When I told him that the apartment was at Eagle Rock, he said she was there now. So I called THAT number - still no answer so I left another voicemail with the identical message. Today is 07/24/22 and still no contact from Lori. She/this company is THE most unprofessional I've come across in some time. This company took our money, WHICH I WANT RETURNED ASAP, on the promise that, without question, my husband and I would have an apartment in mid-late August. BEWARE, and stay away from both of those complexes. FYI, there is no email address for either of their complexes, or for the management company in order to reach them with a complaint. Email for Vista Pointe shows it's unavailable, and email for Eagle Rock was returned. Both those addresses are on their FB pages as well on their websites, but neither works.UPDATE: CALLED THE CORPORATE # ON MONDAY 07/25 AND SPOKE WITH SOMEONE WHO TOLD ME HE'D HAVE THE DM FOR THAT AREA CALL ME WITHIN 15 MINUTES. IT IS NOW 07/27 - ASK ME IF I'VE RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM ANYONE AS YET....
