If you want to walk around aimlessly for an hour and walk out without your intended purchase, then this is the place to be. If you want to feel like you're interrupting sales associates while they are having casual conversation, then this is the place to shop.

Unfortunately, the flowers I purchased in the garden center, didn't hold up. $200 down the drain. I have mixed feelings about giving this store the fourth star, but in fairness, the Home Depot is one of the only options.

John the manager and Home Depot Falsely advertise their products. I Placed a special order they attached A notice indicating any returns would be charged a 15% restocking fee but when I attempted to make the return John turned me away. I spend a lot of money yearly at Home Depot because of this un ethical behavior I will not return

A few years back had a contractor that was on a call list from Home Depot to install an item in my place. I had to keep calling him back to do the job right but we caught on what he was trying to do we even had to call the manager in charge to get him to come back the second time. He was waiting for the contract to expired so he could get paid again, but this time out of our own wallets because Home Depot was paying him from the start.

Went in here to get a new fan, customer service lady at desk where self checkout is was very rude, was trying to pay with debit as credit and didn't know what button to press so I asked for help and the lady goes your still here and I find that very rude, work on your customer service also made assumptions that we weren't paying.

Don't believe what any of the Home Depot Installation sales reps tell you about their windows/doors "Double Lifetime Warranty." It's simply not true. Labor is not covered beyond 1 year! Look at their contract verbiage below. When I inquired about the discrepancy, this was my reply: "My understanding is the line references our lowest warranty that was available on an American Craftsman window which is 1 year and the others would in essence be an upgrade to it. I can assure you having been with Home Depot in the window installations business for over 8 years now they consistently favor on the side of taking care of the customer including any service concerns and issues." It's b******* because the salespeople will be long gone by the time you file a claim. It's what's in the contract that you sign that matters in the eyes of the law; not a marketing brochure or something said in an email. Plygem/Simonton's customer service rep, Mikka, told me that they get lots of complaints from unhappy customers when Home Depot does not honor the warranty. Moreover, they told me HD's (underpaid) subcontractor installers make a lot of mistakes. All confirmed by Simonton's supervisor, Lori Hendershot. The 6500 series window itself is warranted for 20 years and prorated afterwards. This is taken from their contract. Workmanship is only for 1 year! 7. WARRANTY AND LIMITATION ON WARRANTIES: (a) Warranty: Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement, Home Depot warrants for 1 year from the completion date that all Services shall (i) be performed with good workmanship and (ii) conform to the requirements of the Agreement. During the warranty period and within a reasonable time after receiving notice from You of a warranty claim, Home Depot may, at its sole option (i) correct or replace each Defect, or (ii) remove each Defect and refund the full purchase price thereof to You; provided, however, that all warranties are voided if (1) anyone other than Home Depot or Service Provider performs work upon or otherwise modifies any materials or Services provided under this Agreement, or (2) You fail to pay Home Depot as provided in this Agreement. (b) Limitation on Warranties: THE WARRANTIES PROVIDED IN THIS AGREEMENT ARE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE FOREGOING EXPRESS WARRANTIES CONTAINED IN PARAGRAPH 7A, IN THE WARRANTY SECTION OF THE AGREEMENT, IF ANY, OR IN THE STATE SUPPLEMENT, IF ANY. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT NO OTHER WARRANTIES ARE MADE OR GIVEN BY HOME DEPOT OR SERVICE PROVIDER, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY FOR FITNESS OF PURPOSE, WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, OR ANY OTHER ORAL, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES. HOME DEPOT'S EXPRESS WARRANTIES ARE VOIDED FOR ANY DEFECT CAUSED BY ABUSE, MISUSE, NEGLECT, ACTS OF GOD, LACK OF PRESCRIBED OR STANDARD MAINTENANCE, OR IMPROPER CARE/CLEANING. ANY MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTIES PROVIDED FOR GOODS, MATERIALS, OR EQUIPMENT WILL BE PASSED THROUGH BY HOME DEPOT TO YOU, AND YOU AGREE TO LOOK SOLELY TO SUCH MANUFACTURER FOR REMEDY OF ANY DEFECT IN SUCH GOODS, MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT. HOME DEPOT MAY ASSIST YOU WITH WARRANTY CLAIMS AGAINST MANUFACTURERS.

Purchased this item on 6/22/21 for a partial bathroom remodel. The email from @homedepot said it would be at our local store on 7/6/21 for us to pick up. We are still waiting for it. I'm fact, it's been sitting at a terminal about 40 mins away from me since 7/2/21. Every day since 7/6 I have been calling to find out what's going on. All I can say is, everyone I've spoken to has a different answer. I've been told that I can pick it up at the terminal as a will call however, no one seems to know the address of the terminal that I need to go to. Every day upon checking the tracking the date of the delivery to my local store changes to the next day. I am beyond frustrated, I can't find this vanity anywhere else, and no one in customer service, central transport or the store can tell me when my product that I've already paid for will finally be delivered. It's being held hostage at a terminal somewhere either in Middletown or Newburgh.

I have to cut this short because of Yelp's character count limits. But the summary is that this place rented me a tool that didn't work, and then blamed + charged me $433 for it. I needed to bury about a mile of invisible fence cable and I didn't want to do it by hand. When I found the Ez Trench Cable Installer ( and saw that it was at a Home Depot 45 minutes away, I thought my prayers had been answered. 2 days on my hands and knees-trenching cable and $433 later, I'd advise anyone to A.) avoid this tool if you live anywhere that has any rocks in the soil, and B.) avoid the Tool Rental department at the Wappingers Falls, NY Home Depot as they really don't seem to care about working people. So the details... I picked this thing up on a Wednesday because I happened to be near this particular Home Depot which is rare) even though I wasn't going to be able to test it until the weekend. This HD was the only one that had this tool in stock and it's kind of far for me, but if the tool was going to do the job it was meant to do, then it was worth the time and the extra money to me. As I'm leaving, one of the employees in the rental center says 'Look... we get lots of complaints about this thing... it's not really meant for the kind of soil we have around here.' So I say, 'Well, I'll give it a shot I guess... I can't lay a mile of cable by hand and I'm patient.' I watched every video I could find and read the manual. I fire the tool up on Friday night first chance I get. The engine turns over and the blade spins when I squeeze the throttle. Great. I get the cable delivered on Saturday, throw it on the tool, try to get it to lay the cable, and man...no matter what I do, the cable won't lay in the dirt... the machine pulls the cable up and out of the trench + dirt to the point that it's nearly worthless. If it hits a stone, it veers off course and/or shuts down. If you live in the northeast, this isn't the tool for the job... why this Home Depot even rents it out to people feels like a scam. I tried it a few times in multiple places on the property. It's officially way more trouble than it's worth. I'm wildly frustrated at this point. My quick trenching job turned into me spending the weekend on my hands and knees hand-trenching half a mile of cable late into the night on Sunday. But at least, I thought, the guys at the rental area would understand that this tool sucks. I wake up at 6am on Monday before work (4 days and change after initially picking it up), and load this monster into the SUV, drive it the 45 mins back over to the Home Depot a few days early (I stated that I'd need it for 4 days, and if you rent something for 4 days, you get 3 free), and as I'm walking it into the rental area, an employee is walking in at the same time and he says 'How'd that work for ya?' I tell him that the machine wasn't able to lay one single inch of cable. 'Oh... I just had a guy who had it for 2 days... he didn't have any complaints.' Good for him. I tell him that I wish I didn't have complaints as this thing ruined my job and my weekend. He says that he's not authorized to give me a discount on the rental, so I ask who is. He says 'Let me call the manager.' Manager John gets on the phone, hears that I've had the tool for 4+ days, and says 'He didn't call us to complain before today, so charge him for the full week.' I tell the tool rental guy that's unacceptable and it's just not decent. He tells me to go across the store to Customer Service to complain... 'transaction complete' in his eyes, I guess. I tell him that's also unacceptable and that he call the manager back so I can speak with him as I'm right here next to the tool we need to assess. Mind you, nobody has inspected the tool... nobody turned it on... no cursory overview. Just a dismissal of my claim and a prompt to go waste some time in another part of the stor

My 8 month old son and I went in today to get a Christmas tree. I was thinking I'd be able to fit the box standing in a cart but it wasn't working out. A younger employee, who's name I didn't catch, saw me struggling and carried the tree to the checkout counter and then out to my car. I thought he was just going to leave it and go back inside but he stayed and tried to help me get it into my car. It didn't end up fitting but it wasn't for his lack of trying! He was great and I wish I knew his name to give him credit.

The Adirondack Chair I ordered never arrived. The email saying it had been delivered referred me to a text number. The text customer service doesn't work (at 38698) which is listed in the emails. The text sent me to a tel # 800-4303376 that kept asking over and over for order and billing zip code repeating those 2 Qs w no functionality. Then I called the store, They had me on hold for 10 min to tell me another number 800.466.3337. They told me it has shipped. That was automated.Useless. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM HOME DEPOT AGAIN. They have made me into a Lowes customer.

So tired of the snotty attitudes, sales people who can't be bothered to help and not getting help in the first place. Hey guys, we customers are why you have a job when so many do not. No employee should be arguing with a customer. Don't just point, show the customer where the item is. And don't tell me you don't carry it and then take out your smart phone and find out you do. That's just lazy.

Zero stars. Sold me a Maytag top loader told me i had 90 day warranty and says right on my receipt. Machine leaves horrible marks on clothes. I go in right away speak with the sales person Mr. Kennedy tells me he hast to talk to the manager the manager comes to me and tells me I cannot return the machine I have to call Maytag. I called Maytag they tell me it's gonna cost me $250 to come out and look at the machine. This is horrible machine is garbage plus the fact Home Depot when they installed it they review reverse the hot and cold water. Very unsatisfied shame on Home Depot and Maytag do not buy this machine beware!!

Would be nice not be yelled at by an employee! I was in aisle 23 wanting to look for storage bins..the safety gate was out and I asked another associate if I can go in and she said yes..I proceed in and another associate saw me and said "Oh gess what the hell are you doing in there? I have to get in there and get stuff down, you have to get out of there",,,I stood there dumbfounded...I got what I needed and left..not acceptable...I work for HD myself and I would never speak to a customer that way!
