Today an optimum driver flew through a four way stop sign on North Ohioville Road in New Paltz. They could have killed me and my child. I called optimum and they informed me that they have no department that would “handle” this complaint. Alas, I write it here. I did not get a license plate. Unfortunately, I was too frazzled.

The employee at this store was very helpful. I was out in 10 minutes. Unfortunately, I believe Optimum is taking advantage of mobile and home wifi services. Poor internet connection, poor mobile broadband service. And other things I found in a 6 month period.

Was paying $165 for two cable boxes, TV, phone, and 300mbps Internet. Optimum increases your price about $50 to over $205 a month after telling me promotions expired. Then they tell me I can get a $15 discount off the new prices, which I say, I still can't do, therefore, I inform to make up the difference I need to get rid of one of the two cable boxes and an optional sports package I had. They said I couldn't get rid of anything if they give the $15 discount off the $205 new price. Therefore, I told them to get rid of TV and phone and stayed with Internet. They increased the Internet price to $150 month. This is a rip off as I don't seem to have any other service providers in the area. Except that I just found out about Starlink from SpaceX. Therefore, I will try them out. If it works well after 30 days, I'm canceling Optimum. They just don't treat loyal customers well. They have a monopoly in my area. It doesn't seem right. Therefore, I'm hoping this Starlink works.

Prices raised without warning. Not able to answer any questions online. Constant run around. Terrible customer service, but we are stuck with them because they have a monopoly in my area. Criminal!

If I could give this store 0 stars I would in a heartbeat . The staff is so rude and disrespectful. I received a refurbished cable box that was all scratched up and food stuck on it so I decided to exchange it at the Wappingers Falls location. I went in and had the worst experience in this store. The staff was so rude and they all looked miserable. I asked to exchange it for a different box and they had the same nasty scratched boxes with dirt on them. I asked to speak with a supervisor and I was told they dont have one . I contacted Optimum directly to inform them of my experience and now I will be receiving a brand new box in 5-7 days. I do NOT recommend this store. If people are so unhappy with their job they may want to find one and especially one where they dont have to work with the public!!!!

I recently ended internet services for my mother-in-law, explaining that she had recently passed away unexpectedly. No employee ever expressed any condolences upon hearing that my mother-in-law had just died, although some random stranger waited in line did. Do better Optimum, your clients are people, don’t be evil.

I didn't know that you have to cancel your plan or other arrangements by phone before you come here. If not they will not accept anything from you. There is no wait. You can turn in items that are not working for replacements. After 19 years with them they are calling constantly to get me and husband back. Too late!
