“Long term second review.I am just writing to follow up after about 3 years banking here.Previously I traveled and lived internationally a lot, banking with Chase.When I came home for good, Chase did a great job chasing me out the door ! with no free checking, some poor advice on choosing an account.We felt a local credit union could serve our needs better, and sooth some of the serious mistrust I have of the big five crime families ( The five big banks...Wells Fargo, Chase...Nearly three years later we are very happy with them.First of all, they put up with me !SeriouslyI am happy to say that as far as I recall none of the staff has changed, A few additions and all are very friendly and personable.You can get face to face interaction with a person at the ATM when the branch is closed if needed. I get much better online connection speeds.Some little hiccoughs when I have to do international stuff, but that is not their market.We have never considered changing banks.Thanks Julie and everybody else for an on going positive experience.Larry”

“I just want to express the most pleasant experience I had all while during a horrid experience. On Dec 6,2022 I because another victim of the Bank of America via Zelle fraud scheme (google it). I was at work and received a text from someone impersonating boa(I did not know this at the time). The text I received mentioned someone attempting to use my debit card in Miami Florida. The text stated did I approve $189 charge in Miami Florida. Type yes, no, or help and if I typed no a representative from boa would reach out to me. I typed no and immediately received a phone call from someone who claimed they were from Bank of America. They asked me to read back verification codes like boa does. I repeated the codes being sent to me and the impersonator was I guess hacking my online Mobil banking. They took $3500 from my checking account and sent it to someone I don’t know. They attempted a second Zelle transfer of $9900 which was actually declined. Unfortunately the $3500 Zelle transaction was approved. Still dealing with this and have not reviewed my money back. Extremely frustrating and makes me ask myself if I wanna stay with this bank.I just want to commend Darnell smith in the Wappinger falls location. She has gone above and beyond on my behalf. NONONE ELSE HAS. She was able to actually be compassionate, show empathy, and make phone calls on my behalf to try and get me some answers. The same answers no one else would help me with including corporate. She has stayed in contact with me and really shown care and again compassion. When in a customer service environment the first rule is to be empathetic and Darnell has shown this again and again. I was directed to fraud department and then digital fraud department and then Zelle fraud department and after about 50 phones called all which included endless amounts of time on the phone being transferred to department angst department and being told I don’t know why they transferred you here you need another department and around and around with zero resolution and or answers.I met with Darnell again today for the second time and she got on the phone and acted almost as a lawyer for the client and got me some answers. I haven’t again reviewed my money back yet but I so appreciate the time and attention that Darnell has given to me regarding this terrible matter. She took notes and got all of my questions answered just an above and beyoind Employee. Boa is lucky to have her and I appreciate her efforts so much. I would love to have her come work for me because she’s an exceptional amazing asset to your company. I hope you all realize how much of an asset this woman is to your establishment. She deserve all the credit. No one else including corporate. Thank you Darnell”
