I went to this mechanic about a week and a half ago got a full tuneup and my throttle body cleaned and this guy used all Motorcraft parts that are pacifically made for my vehicle and he was $350 cheaper than all mechanics that I went to this Mechanic is highly recommended he Is honest, and does all the work very quick would recommend Checking him out before just settling for one price at other locations

I’ve been getting my vehicles serviced by Manjit for over 20 years. He is very honest and reliable. I never feel like I have to get a second estimate for anything, because I am very comfortable with everything he tells me. He even stayed late one Christmas Eve to change my father’s battery, because it died. Not many people would do something like that. It says a lot about his character. Just went to try to dispose of my used motor oil here. The owner refused and get snarky with me. I reminded him by law he is supposed to accept used motor oil. He then said he would take it but charge me for it. This guy is a straight up piece of garbage and now has been reported to the DEC.EDIT: The owner is now lying on his response. I’ve never once dumped any motor oil here. Even if I did, he is required BY LAW to accept used motor oil free of charge.

This is in response to the user that said the owner was snarky about dropping off his used oil. I would disagree as the he only said that he would need to charge him to drop the oil as he himself needs to pay to dispose of it. I suggested he go to the Town of Hempstead facility as they would accept it. I have had my cars serviced many times and have never had a problem. Work is always done to my satification and price is fair. Have recommended people serveral times. Excellent local business.

Manjit is an honest man with fair prices. I've been using SJ Auto for years and he always makes time for emergency repairs. I've recommended him many times and everyone has been pleased and impressed with his service.

He then said he would take it but would charge me to take it, which is also against the law. I reviewed him on google and he commented on the review lying, stating that " He brings I don't know how many gallons of dirty oil and dump here free." I've never once disposed of any motor oil here in my life, so he decides to sensationalize the event. I have reported him to the DEC, and I hope he gets fined. After this I went to another local mechanic who took my used oil no questions asked! They were very polite, unlike the owner of this establishment.

First Time using SJ Auto Center.....I was in a bad bind with car...could barely drive it...called the shop Majit said yes I can fix it today....Majit said if you get stuck on the way call I can come to you...shop was right in my neighborhood so I made it...he offered to drive me home and pick me up when work was done....he updated me with what was wrong with the car and fixed it...I have found a reliable honest mechanic and will definitely use SJ Auto Center in the futureServices: Steering & suspension repair

My stepdad tried to create an appointment and they hung up on him after telling him he’s not speaking english because he has a slight accent. Very disappointed with the service.
