August 30, 2024 about 530pm. A courtesy car from this dealer, Dodge charger plate LFR 199(didn't get last number) was driving west on West side highway in Manhattan. The driver was some guy wearing a silver/chrome looking jacket, swerving in and out of lanes, speeding, cutting me and others off, hard braking etc. General dangerous unlawful driving.
What kind of people do you have working for you that they drive a car with your Business's name on it like this?

Came in to lease a new vehicle. Checked out the new Compass. Dealer used typical sales tactics going to manager and coming back with figures. Eventually the manager sat with us but they weren't offering a descent price. Went across the street to Sun Buick and leased a new luxury vehicle right away with zero sales tactics.

Okay, so I am new to jeep as I have mostly purchased luxury vehicles in my past. What I can say is that this dealership does a fine job on the sales/leasing side. If you read the reviews carefully you well notice almost all of the positive reviews mention the sales experience. On the other hand, there is significant frustration on the service end. For me, I have a problem charging my Grand Cherokee Summit plug-in hybrid and the best that they could do is provide me with an appointment in 4-weeks. Perhaps this is acceptable to some, but it’s certainly not a “luxury” experience. And even though I love the car, I would likely not get another Jeep given this experience.

We had an amazing, stress-free experience purchasing our new 2024 Jeep grand Cherokee from Merrick Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram. Jason, Jovana and Sean all worked diligently to meet our needs with transparency and honesty. The customer service was great, we got a great deal, and we love our new car. We will definitely be purchasing from here again!!

Carl Reed, my Sales Professional, was easy to work with. No pressure sales tactics. He spent a good amount of time, about an hour or so on the first day, showing me the Jeep I was interested in and even arranged for a test drive (which happened two days later due to my schedule). Carl explained the workings of the Jeep (a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE)and even showed me where the service center was. Once I had taken the test drive, and decided that this was the vehicle I wanted, he worked with me in order to get the best possible price.Gregory, the Finance Director, took a lot of time with me, getting a really great rate on my loan. These two professional made purchasing this Jeep easy. The dealership itself was neat and clean, as was the service area, and I was greeted promptly when I walked through the door. I would absolutely recommend this dealership to anyone.

SCAMMERS Terrible Service Experience at Merrick Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram**
I had a terrible experience at Merrick Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram. I brought my company van in to fix the dashboard, and it took over two months to replace the ABS module. Initially, Sean handled my case, but after he left, Ray took over and charged me over $3K but never provided me with a proper invoice for my company records. A week later I went back and his assistant printed an sketchy invoice showing over $7K invoice with inaccurate description. Apparently they want to bill back the warranty on the back for extra cash - shady!! The agreement was a fixed price of around $3,000, no warranty needed.
The staff was unhelpful and dismissive of my concerns. The manager was also unresponsive. Overall, the service was unprofessional and unacceptable. Where's my INVOICE???

If I could give zero stars I would. I recently brought my truck in for them to replace my screen and perform a tire rotation.
Before i dropped off my truck, like I always do, I marked one of my tires with a paint marker so it shows me if they actually rotated my tires.
My truck was done in a couple of hours, which I thought was actually fast for replacing a screen and rotating four truck tires.
I was charged $50 for the rotation and the screen was covered under warranty. When I picked up my truck, the tire with the mark I made was in the same location.That shows me they never rotated my tires.
This is not the first time Merrick Jeep did this to me. About 3 months back I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Like I always do I marked one of my tires. I picked up my truck and the tire with the mark I made that morning was still in the same spot.
When I brought my issue to the manager Ray, his response was “I could have them do it now”. Why wasn’t my tires rotated when I brought my truck in for service. The service I paid for to have done. Why on gods earth would I have you ever touch my truck again. When I expressed my frustration and said I will never return to Merrick Jeep again his response was “ok”.
Merrick Jeep tried to scam me twice. I will never step foot in that dealership or service department ever again. I would highly think twice about bringing your car in for service here. If I was scammed twice how many other times did people come in for $50 tire rotations and the service was never done.Truly disgusting.

I purchased a 2022 Ram 1500 in August of 2022 and have had nothing but problems with the electrical system. First the battery died (7 times so far), then the dashboard would go black for days and no components would work and now after being in Service for the 8th time in a year and a half, while the dashboard issues continue, there is an acceleration problem where I lose power taking off when the truck is cold. I have asked for help because this vehicle is unsafe. First I asked for a replacement Ram, then asked for a different vehicle , contacted the BBB and now filing a Lemon Law claim because neither Merrick Dodge nor Dodge Corporate can fix the problems or swap out the vehicle. I have driven Dodge products for 40 years and this is the worst vehicle ever with the worst Customer Service.

Drop my challenger here for services. And services sucks , don’t bring your car for service here !! - NO UPDATES , NO COMMUNICATION, THEIR COMPUTER SYSTEM ALWAYS DOWN, I HAD TO DRIVE THERE AND CALL LIKE 100x BECAUSE THEY WONT CALL YOU OR TEXT OR NO COMMUNICATION!

James Kropp was so amazing to work with! He was extremely helpful and made the entire process so smooth. I had a hard time finding a vehicle until I came across James at Jeep Merrick. I did all the paperwork with him, left, and in 24 hours I was driving away with my new jeep. Thank you so much James!

I had been researching and looking to possibly trade-in / trade-up my Jeep Grand Cherokee over the last year. I happened to come across Merrick Jeep in my internet research, they had a vehicle that met the requirements I had been looking for. I decided to visit the dealership to look at the vehicle and see if it was available. When I arrived at the dealership I was greeted by one of their staff members and the gentleman was polite and invited me in and took me to their front desk. I explained to the staff members at the front desk what I was looking for and they were professional and courteous. Within less than 5 minutes I was introduced to the professional salesperson, Agata Spina. At this point I was not going to purchase the vehicle, I wanted to inquire about the vehicle and look at it to get a better idea of what is available in this current market. I sat down with Agata and explained my situation, she was more than accommodating and understanding of my position that I was not necessarily looking to purchase a vehicle at that moment. Agata explained that the vehicle was available to look at and was prompt in taking me out to the lot to inspect the vehicle even making sure that she immediately moved the other vehicles so I could test drive the Jeep. Upon returning from the test drive we sat down and proceeded to have a conversation not about possibly purchasing the Jeep, but about our families and everyday stuff. For me personally, this is where my mindset changed and knew that Agata was the right salesperson for me and I was going to most likely purchase the vehicle. I never felt pressure to start paperwork, she never brought up what I would like to do about the vehicle, or pushed the idea that a deal needs to be done. Her professionalism, courtesy, and overall wonderful attitude made purchasing the Jeep hassle free. We spent almost 6 hours together due to technical difficulties which she could not control and still never once did I feel I was not being taken care of. I explained where my budget was and what I was willing to commit too, Agata and her finance colleague Alice worked diligently to meet my requirements. In this current market I believe Merrick Jeep offered me the right price for the Jeep, an acceptable interest rate, and even got a little more money for my trade-in. I would like to sincerely thank Agata, Joe the manager, and the rest of the staff at Merrick Jeep for my experience in purchasing a new/slightly used Jeep. I will definitely be recommending Merrick Jeep to friends and family that may be in the market for a vehicle. This was my experience, I was not expecting to purchase the Jeep but because of Agata and the experience they provide for me I am more than satisfied. Remember these are people too not just someone you may buy a car from, treat them with respect just as you would want to be treated. Grazie mille, Agata!

Recently, we started our search for a preowned certified vehicle with low mileage. We were looking for a vehicle from 2021 forward. We like everyone else searched online, Narrowed it down to a couple of vehicles and viewed in person at the many dealerships across Long Island. On our first outing, we had met William Walsh of Merrick Dodge Chrysler Jeep on sunrise highway, Wantagh. After speaking to other dealers and looking at other vehicles, we came back to Merrick Dodge Chrysler Jeep. William (Bill) Walsh Assisted us in viewing a couple of jeep compass Limited Vehicles with different packages and Mileage. He was friendly, easy-going, and attentive, and listened to what our needs were. We chose a vehicle and worked out an agreeable financing agreement with Joel. We picked up our vehicle with low mileage and it’s a 2023! The vehicle is still covered under warranty! We met Brian Thomas, the sales manager who welcomed us to the VIP family! Looking forward to driving this vehicle for many years to come and having it serviced at the dealership for the best maintenance and care for the vehicle.
