Passed by the store for so many years finally got a chance to walk in. Brandon was so knowledgeable and talking with him was a real pleasure. Will definitely be back to see him and pick his fish brain :-)

Overpriced and sometimes rude. I called the other day asking the price on 1 ounce diamond jigs. The kid on the phone said $5.19. Overpriced to begin with. I said okay thanks, and he just hung up. Unreal. I highly recommend Ralph's tackle in Island Park. Best prices out of any other tackle shop. 1 ounce diamond jigs at Ralph's are $3.95. And the staff is very friendly as well.

This place is great. I Went yesterday for the first time. I got crabs and stuff and prices are really good. They are fully stocked and very polite. They all welcomed us and even told us where to fish and to be safe. I will def be going to the shop more and more since I found it. Hard to find places like this. The date was Saturday November 18th. 2023. I don't write reviews but had to on this shop.

They ripped me off by filling my reel with 70% mono and only 30% braided line. Be careful when buying braided lines from them and asking them to put it in your reel!

These guys are very decent, and know a lot about fishing. They have good bait and a deceptive large amount of stuff in their store . Good folks!Even though I have been fishing for over 50 years, I still consider myself a novice. I find that I actually learn a few things when I come in.Thank you for your service and support.

I’ve been to a number of bait shops on the south and north shore and nothing compares to causeway bait and tackle. They are the ultimate professional tackle store.

Been going here for YEARSSSS with my family, I called before to make sure they had what I needed in stock I was told they had more then enough, about an hour later I arrive to get told they don’t have what I need!!!! Come on what a waste of time and energy…..don’t go here unless you want you money and time wasted

My stepfather religiously requests gift cards from Causeway for each and every Christmas and birthday. He rants and raves about this store! I considering buying a new setup for my own today...one of the associates fixed my reel twice at no charge (granted it took him under 5 minutes each time) which they didn't have to do. Old time mom and pop store....has survived these giant big box stores, I will support as long as they stay fair priced and continue sharing their knowledge!
