Beware of double-charges on their website! I placed an order after entering my credit card information and immediately saw an error message saying the transaction didn't go through. I then placed another order and received a confirmation email (still thinking I had only been charged once at this point).A few weeks later I received two orders (despite only getting one order number and one confirmation email). They double-charged my credit card and wouldn't let me return the first order without paying for shipping as well as restocking fees. Their customer service was unhelpful as well and wouldn't even waive the shipping and restocking fees.

Drop of a tool for warranty service and was told that if it wasn't covered under warranty there would be a $15.00 freight charge. Tool was repaired by manufacturer no charge. They call me and tell me that it was covered and that there was a $20.00 freight charge. The same person who wrote up the ordered lied right to me. And to add icing to the cake they go ahead and add tax to the freight charge which is totally wrong. Learned my lesson and next time ill go directly to the manufacture

I placed an order through Ace Tool on June 19th for a Milwaukee laser line detector (received) and a Milwaukee tripod. I called back twice to find out the status of the tripod, and they said it was on back order (fine, no problem). They also said they would check with the Milwaukee rep to get status both times; each time they never called me back. I would rather support small businesses even if their prices are higher, but communication is key, even if it is automated (Amazon). Because I received half my order, I'm giving them 3 stars. However, I'll probably never use Ace Tools again as there are many other options out there for tools. I would suggest they look at B&H Photography as a customer service model.

Ordered something, received confirmation, email, saw the credit card pre-authorization go through and then ... nothing. No merchandise, no follow-up, no response to my emails. Nothing. Could have had the equipment I needed from a competitor without wasting two weeks of silence.

I ordered a product from AceTool on the 1st Dec. DeWalt's website, and Acetool's displayed the product in stock. Once I placed my order, I got an immediate response from AceTool that the product was not in stock, and they'd take about 5-7 days before they could source and ship my item. Fast forward 21 days, they have not responded to my emails, and I still do not have any visibility on when my order would be fulfilled.

I placed an order on 11/8/21 for an item that was listed as being IN STOCK. I've called several times and keep getting a runaround. They said the item was on backorder even though it's still listed as being in stock. I called last week and.was to they would.be re either ING the item the next day and they would ship it out to me the following day. Now it's been another week and it still shows the order is processing. First of all, saying an item is in stock when it's not is false advertising and then to keep lying about it is just plain wrong. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT WON"T SHIP YOUR ORDER!

Placed an order without being informed that item wasn't in stock now I have to wait until item comes to store now I understand it takes time but if I was informed it would take two weeks to get in store just to ship I would have bought item somewhere else that had item in stock. Deceiving

I bought a Honda generator from Ace Tool in September, and our electrician had an issue with the transfer switch setup. Neither Ace Tool nor Honda could/would help us with the problem. Ace wanted to sell us an additional part for megabucks. Terrible customer service from both ACE and Honda. NEVER DO BUSINESS with ACE TOOL!! The answer to the issue was found in a Honda Service bulletin, why did we have to find that ourselves?????

Brought in for repair. They dont do service on site, was not told that when i bought it, so it was sent out for repair to honda. It took over 2 months. The winter season was over. I went to use following season and would not stay running. Called them to fix problem and was informed they send it out and would take another 2 months.....Horrible.......Bought the machine at their store and would expect better service then this.....Will bring to a certified tech rather then them...

I've done business with Ace Tool Repair twice and both times had excellent customer service. Toni made it a point to send me a welcome email which made me think I'd time-traveled to the 1950s since I'm so rarely thanked like that for my patronage anymore. My items I've ordered have all arrived promptly and well-packaged within the time frame I was given (especially worth calling out given the pandemic is causing worldwide shipping delays). This is definitely a business I would recommend to others.
