What a beautiful lodge located on the Oswegatchie River. Wonderful and accommodating owner and staff. The food was fabulous, all homemade and healthy. I did a Kayak/Hiking trip with AE Adventures from this lodge and it could not have been better!

It had been over 20 years since I last stayed here, back when I went to Wanakena often. Nothing has changed about Rick and Angie's gracious hospitality, the accommodations, the food, and the relaxing sound of the Oswegatchie River just out the back door.

Idyllic log lodge BnB set in the woods next to some white water on the Oswegatchie Inlet to Cranberry Lake. Angie provides a great breakfast on tables over looking the serene views. Walk around the quaint old historic logging town of Wanakena. Cross the iconic swinging walk bridge and take the historic walking tour around town Several trail heads into the Forever Wild 5 Ponds Wilderness Area ... WEar the correct shoes and follow the trails!!! If you are lucky you can enjoy a live concert on the Green on several summer weekends. You will want to return.

Great place to stay + perfect location for those hiking the Cranberry 50.Quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and everyone was welcoming and friendly.Rooms were roomy and well kept. Common spaces were also very nice, with lots of great ADK books in the study Room, and great room.I stayed here while doing the Cranberry 50 Ultra (NEU8) and it’s a great location for a pit stop on the 50 miles trek - we planned our trip so we hit Wanakena (and Packbasket) at mile 38.Highly recommend Packbasket if you are staying in the area!

Cute and comfy place! I really enjoy my stay here. The owners were welcoming and accommodating to us needing to get up early and went out of their way to make sure we had food and coffee even though we needed it at 2 am! Rooms were lovely and the grounds were great. I really enjoyed the fire pit by the stream. Hope to stay here again!

Stayed at the Cabin during a recent camping excursion and loved everything about it. Clean and rustic. Great food and the owners are super friendly and committed to their business. I'm looking forward to going back. Highly recommended!
