Do not, DO NOT, rent from these people!! They will rip you off! They bought out my storage company then used an old address and charged me $300 extra in fees because I was late on rental fee. They charge a full month extra, and they are crazy expensive! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!! They will bankrupt you my rent went up an extra $100 and the insurance went up by $30. My $200 10x10 now costs almost $400. 2 months back rent costed me $1,200 because of their bank error. Go somewhere else this place is a rip off worst place ever!!

Everything was great at first but it has been nothing but a hassle to move out! When I opened the unit I said I was only keeping it for a month and we submitted the move out date paperwork that day. I moved out 4 days before the official move out date. I called the day before the move out date to confirm everything was good and was told it would be. I got calls and emails saying I was late making a payment and I spoke to customer service (because nobody is ever in the office) THREE more times to find out why it wasn't closed out when it should have been. Then they changed my move out day and are trying to charge me another month plus late fees all for their negligence in completing the move out. I will never use this location again!! Customer service on the phone is very helpful and polite though.

Although I am an existing customer, I have never had the need to call the office, until today. I inquired regarding switching to a different size unit. Heather was not only professional and very helpful in answering all of my questions, but she was personable and friendly, and offered to follow up with me in a few weeks when I plan to switch units. She gave me an excellent customer service experience.

Akii made everything so simple, and Guardian is the most economical in the area. Online renting is easy, the facility is clean and well lit, and Akii gave me a code for access thats easy to remember! I've rented at various other places due to my college student, and none was as easy or pleasant as this!

My rental of a nicely sized storage space went very well. Mr. Thigpen was wonderful - kind, considerate and listened to my needs (and screeds - ha ha ha). I rented for a year. I cannot wait to fill the space up - most of it is still sitting in my attic...and I am happy that Guardian Self Storage is so close by too.

At first, I was not sure if I wanted to go with the storage for my business equipment, but I talked to Sharon, and she was fantastic. I told her I wanted to have a space for my business equipment, and she showed me units that were nice to put everything. So, at first, I did not get the storage and had to think about it. This time I came in and I got the storage I want to say a month later and the other young lady that was covering was great as well. We went through the paperwork, and it was 123 easy. Now I have my storage and it is great. I have a safe place for my wedding and event business equipment. Their location is easy to get to off and, on the road, and it is clean. Thank you, Sharon, for all your help in my decision to get the storage and at the correct price as well. Thank you.

I have no idea of how this storage facility could ever get 4 or 5 stars. The staff is rude, their fees are ridiculous, they don't work with you, and they harass you constantly

Such a good experience! We tried a different storage place first that wanted a security deposit, rest of the month, an admin fee, and then a whole month when we'd only be there for a few days into the next month for a total of almost $500 just for a month of storage for a small unit. I was SO surprised how easy it was to rent of Guardian Storage in Walden. Booked it on the website, came the next day, and I was given a full run down of how the facility works and best part: no extra fees! Get.charged one month the day you rent but only charged again if you're still there exactly one month from the day that you rent! Sharon was also incredibly pleasant to work with! Great place to store your stuff!

Miss Sharon was so helpful over the phone in getting me a unit. So friendly and professional. My wife was very delighted as well with her charm and customer service when she went in person to finalize our rental. The property is well maintained and the prices are good. Very happy overall.
