Stopped in to pickup a unique wine from tuscany (2018 Altura sangiovese rose) Wainscott main wine and spirits was the only store in the USA, I found to have the wine. I found the store quaint and the staff incredibly helpful. I'm enjoying a chateauneuf du pape (Brad's recommendation now). Delicious!

Wonderful wine store with most friendly staff!! Brad and Sebastian were amazing helping us get a ton of stuff for great prices. And tasting and snacks while you browse to boot!

This place is a gem. Everyone who works here is very knowledgeable and you'll find unique brands of all spirits and wines. If you're lucky in the summer time you may even end up with her couple of potatoes or a beautiful tomato on the way out as well.

I wanted to order a special bourbon for a friend, and looked for many hours to find somebody who had it. I ordered two bottles on their website and hoped for the best. Much to my satisfaction, they shipped the very same day, used an express shipping method, and the bourbon was delivered a couple days later. The bottles were protected with packaging designed to ship bottles, and even though this place seems to be a small local supplier, they provided first class service for me, even though I am half way across the country. I'm glad I took the chance to order from them.

I've been to this liquor store a few times and they are always very nice and helpful. They have a great selection of wines and liquors and they cater to all budgets. They also have some really great sake selections. There is plenty of parking, so you would never have to worry about finding parking here. One time they didn't have the product I was looking for, and they even gave me suggestions of other liquor stores that may have it. They seem to be really honest and hardworking. It's definitely my go to liquor store in the area.

I came in today & asked for a "funky, natural white." I've walked into a number of wine stores in Brooklyn and asked this question, to which I always immediately receive a strong suggestion or two. In today's case, I was offered an orange wine, and a couple of options for Rose, but nothing white. As I tried to remember and describe the more specific qualities that I was looking for (i.e. unfiltered, etc.), I was met with condescension. I decided to just get the orange wine and go. I will leave this with a quote from a Food & Wine article on "funky wines:" "Taylor says he's accustomed to people coming into his place and asking for funky wines. "It may be overused, but I don't discourage people from using it," he says..."It could mean barnyard, or it could mean a wine that's unfiltered or hazy, or it could mean a wine that's made without sulfites or chemicals," he says. "I think it can mean a lot of different things to different people." For those interested in exploring these wines, your best move is to visit your favorite local wine shop... Expressing an interest in funk can be a helpful starting point. "From there, it becomes the job of a good caviste or somm to read that and take you in the right direction," Taylor says."

I simply adore this prodigiously run shop. They have a nice array of wine and spirits (most) that are very reasonably priced especially considering the zip code. I highly recommend attending one of their wine tasting classes. I learn something new each time I attend. They have a plethora of different rosé wines. Additionally, the shop carries wine from many different islands versus just the traditional French, Spanish, Italian and Californian wines.
