i was a customer of twin forks moving and storage out of east hampton ny. i was informed by an ex employee that twin forks was charging me for storage at their location but in reality twin forks was storing my belongings at the pods location across the street. after research i was able to prove twin forks storage fees were way more expensive than pods storage fees. i spoke to a friend at pods and they told me pods is fully aware of this fraudulent tactic. my friend at pods also informed me that 70% of pods east hampton warehouse is fillled with twin forks customers belongings. so he explained pods lets the fraud continue so they can keep their east hampton location in business.
i am in the process of taking twin forks and pods to court for fraud. if you are a twin forks customer i would look into this. class action may be an option against these two shady companies.

obviously you didnt read what i wrote. i was a customer of TWIN FORKS MOVING AND STORAGE. twin forks is commiting fraud against its customers by charging storage fees but then storing the customers belongings at the pods warehouse at a cheaper storage rate without the customers knowing. pods is fully aware of what is going on. so how can you look into this and fix fraud? are you going to alert all of twin forks customers that pods is storing their belongings without them knowing?

Great option for storage of big items during a major home renovation. Easy to schedule all aspects of the process from start to finish. It was nice to know that items were stored in temperature controlled environment.

great driver sketchy company. Offer 25% discount, never.provided it, opened a complaint case never offered explanation, when I called they were rude and hung up twice... good luck... you've been warned

Horrible company. Have wasted countless hours of mine waiting on hold (for 2 months now) and still no answers.They have taken over $300 more than what they quoted me out of my bank account.I would not use this company at all, if there is ever an issue they will not be there to help resolve it.Very unprofessional. Every step of the way and experience has been nothing but aggravating and miserable.

Container leaked rain inside on 2 separate occations durring the month used.Sent photos and video plus receipts for the 4 month old 1400.00 mattress ruined and two barn sliding doors.Company's response 2 months later... couldnt find leak. Ready your policy. Too bad.Super professional for corporate

It's very very extremely expensive for everything involved in moving with them but most and worst of all is the monthly charge of over $330 for storage,, which is completely ridiculous.The employee that brings your pod in-and-out of the facility, in Wainscott, is very nice and helpful but the process to get your unit available is a 24 hour call before waiting. Not very efficient and kind of lame. Annoying as well. For over $300 a month I should be able to go in at any time without having to ask or call and get into my pod.Pods was efficient when transporting across the country which is a big move but when you pay $5000 plus dollars and get charged for a drop off and pick up fee on top of the $5000 that doesn't make sense. Plus if you need to store it for a few months, that's maybe another $1000 just in storage not included with the original extremely high valued price.Overall they have a Monopoly due to they are one of the only companies that will ship across the country.Also the driver that dropped off and picked up our pod before leaving was amazing. It's very nice helpful on time and just a wonderful person. So far the employees or the best part of pod's experience they have all been friendly nice and helpful.

Terrible experience. I would give 0 stars if I could given the stress level they've given me. I booked PODS weeks ago and have had various communications with them solidifying details around my move. Now - less than a week before my move - an agent tells me that the POD cannot be delivered to my address in New Haven. I was infuriated. How did none of the 5+ agents I've spoken with to date bring this up before? I'm thankful to have found U-Pact as an alternative, which actually also has a better pricing model and can get me my stuff earlier.

PODS has failed to pick up on several scheduled dates. There has been almost daily contact for a week with four scheduled pick ups. PODS was scheduled to deliver on 8 August 2016. Delivery was never made. We contacted PODS the evening of the 8th and they told us delivery would not be able to be made for for a couple days. No exact day was given. Shortly after the call PODS contacted us and said they would be able to deliver on the 9th. During the delivery scheduling 13 August 2016 had been the pick up date scheduled with PODS. Apoun delivery we confirmed the pick up dated of the 13th. The evening of the 13th PODS had not contacted up about a pick time frame. We contacted PODS and they told us they would not be able to pick up the POD. They said the 17 would be the earliest pickup is available. We confirmed the 17. On the evening of the 17 August 2016 we had not received a call about a pick up time. We contacted PODS and they told us they would not be able to make pick up and the earliest time they could pick up 19 August 2016. It is now 19 August 2016. We called PODS because we had not heard anything about a pick up time. They told us there was a glitch in the system and they would not be able to pick up the POD. Earliest date would be the 23 August 2016. The POD will now be sitting in our driveway empty and past the agreed upon date of pick up for ten days. PODS delay in pickup has now also cost us another month of storage usage fee.
